“My husband and I loved our time with Hannah Ahlgren! She was kind, friendly, and informative during our prenatal meetings and was so sweet with our son. When it was getting close to baby time, she helped us think through when it was time to rest and distract from the contractions, and when it was time to head to the hospital to have our sweet baby boy! She was very calm and grounded at the hospital and helped remind me to relax through each contraction and to modify my breathing when things got intense. She was so attentive our needs and was always just a text or call away! We loved having someone extra we knew was on our team who was able provide extra support to both me and my husband.”

Most of the time we learn as we go during our pregnancies-especially the first ones-the more you know the more choices you have and that means sometimes you make changes in your original plan. You can do that!

“Lilly Trotter was our sweet doula and I could not be more thankful for her presence during my labor. My first birth definitely scarred my heart and mind and I really feel that Lilly was placed in my life to be there during my labor with my second baby. She is so knowledgable and she helped relieve so much pain before my epidural and she made sure I was changing positions regularly. She did the best job validating me and calming me when I felt fearful or anxious. My epidural wore off and everything felt really scary and Lilly read scripture over me (I asked her to prior, on my paperwork) and she reminded me that every thing was okay and I truly don’t know what I would have done, or how I would have felt, with out her there. I am so grateful for her and I would recommend her to everyone, she was so great!! I learned so much from her and she definitely reminded me that I have a voice even with a hospital birth.
