With school about to end next week…just doing a quick recap of what we have been up to at Tutor Time Academy. We have been having a blast in our new facility, doing experiments, being creative, learning through play, participating in learning competitions and so much more!

Our students are still having a blast on STEAM day on Fridays. On Fridays, we allow our students to experience learning through hands on activities in science, technology, engineering & design, art, and math (economics). We also include a life skill class on Fridays as well. We encourage our students to get hands on & real-life experiences along with each lesson they learn.

Take a look đź‘€ Our Level 3 students made their own versions of longhouses and wrote reports for their social studies project! Great job students!

Our 2nd field trip of the year was a success…the students enjoyed a day of fun Our students got to bowl, play in the arcade and eat. They had a really good time!

Our students had so much fun donating their gently used toys and clothes to it was a great experience for them. In the spirit of service and in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. day our students participated in an “Act of Kindness” drive to donate their gently used toys and clothes they they no longer play with or wear to a good cause. Our school chose to donate to their excellent staff was wonderful and so helpful. Victoria was the absolute best, she gave our students a tour around the store and informed them how the stores benefits the Christian Outreach Center and what exactly their donations help with.

Tutor Time Academy’s 1st field trip of the school year was a success! The students learned about Louisiana native animals at the Bluebonnet Swamp. They also enjoyed getting to touch a few of the animals. Students also had so much fun at the park.
