It's been a challenging couple of years for many people... we believe this offer can make a difference. Please share with the non-traditional earners in your life. It would be an honor and joy to have the chance to work with them. 💕

Thank you to everyone who has already listened to my guest appearance on . Throughout the episode we take you through our own challenges with money and acting (did you know I was once $80,000 in debt?), how to treat our art as a business and a craft, and give advice on what it means to be financially stable.
I’m so grateful for this opportunity, and hope everyone enjoys!
Wishing you abundance, Miata

Fall is here. Persephone is leaving soon, and the leaves are changing, turning trees into blankets of oranges, reds, and yellows. Just for a little, the world is shifting, heading once again into the unknown winter.
Going into something new, whether it’s a business, a partnership, maybe even a new city, can be scary. But it’s important to embrace the change, and use it for good. Change can be exhausting, and it’s completely okay to feel discouraged or tired at times. But we have the ability to recognize and demonstrate strength, and use any opportunity we receive to the fullest extent.
My daughter is leaving for a week retreat today, and although she knows nothing about it, she’s excited. Next time you’re faced with something unknown, go in excited and with your eyes open for new possibilities. Bumps and bruises we sometimes sustain along the journey. But I also know that you can do it.
Wishing you abundance, Miata

Think of someone who inspires you. What person comes to mind? Your parents? Friends? Teachers? I, personally, have many. So does my daughter. These are my conscious role models - those I follow willingly, hoping, one day, to be just as great. But… I had (have) some unconscious ones as well. Certain… figures in my life who I love, but probably shouldn’t be following them blindly.
Think about it, do you have any of these? People you follow because you see how successful they are, but don’t actually know any of the details, any of the knowledge. These people, how much you admire them, can actually hold you back. Certain ideologies you’ve adopted from them which may be holding you back from achieving an infinite amount of goals, including financial stability.
This March, distinguish your conscious and unconscious role models, and analyze how you can be successful by building and utilizing a relationship with them.

I understand the want to work alone, 100%. It’s this intriguing idea that seems very rewarding: I can complete xyz in an amazing fashion by myself, and I won’t be held down by my peers. Except… It’s a lot of work. And you’re lacking ideas and the deadline is coming up. You need to finish this, but how exactly?
Well… swallow your pride a bit and ask for help. A teacher, friend, peer, family, anyone. Opening up your mind and your work to others will provide you with more knowledge then you could imagine. Working alone robs us of the different perspectives, strengths and ideas that can come from other people.
On the last day of February, reach out to someone. Ask them for help, it doesn’t have to be work related. The results could be surprising.
Wishing you Abundance, Miata

Ever feel like you only ever give and never get something back? It’s hard I know, to never feel rewarded for all the work you do. But pushing past that, continuing to give, that’s what will encourage fulfillment. And I don’t mean just give to others. Give something to yourself as well. Block out a night that you can spend relaxing. Buy that book you wanted to read. In the last few days of November, remember to give. Commit yourself to making someone else’s day better, or helping you elf gain that new level of confidence.

So how exactly, does encouragement relate to money? Think about it. Imagine you’re in a rut financially and are seeing very little concerning positive outcomes. It’s an understatement to say getting out of that is hard, especially by yourself. So what do you need? Encouragement. Motivation. Something that stimulates your desire for a better future and relationship with money. You can’t lose all of your morale and be expected to keep fighting. Encourage others to make good decisions, motivate yourself through a series of small goals, and most of all be open to receiving help, it’s okay to lean on someone. Wishing you abundance, Miata

Everyone can reach out and inspire those around us. We know that simple gestures can help a person tremendously, so why don’t we do them? What’s stopping us from inspiring and encouraging others? I ask you to mull on this question. What do you come up with? Are you scared someone may do better than you? Or perhaps you are experiencing a lack of motivation, and can’t bring yourself to try and lift up others. We’ve all been there, but for today, do something (large or small) that encourages others. I promise you’ll receive something in return. Wishing you abundance, Miata

Keeping morale up is difficult to say the least. You see people doing better than you and you think “why bother? They’re going to outplay me anyway”. With everything seeming to be a competition, it may seem counterintuitive to motivate others to achieve something you may want, or visa versa. But living in this mindset is neither productive nor helpful. In the last few days of September, I want everyone to focus on encouragement. Encourage yourself to strive for new opportunities and encourage those around you to reach for their goals.

Don’t you want to be free? Free from stress, financial burdens, self-doubt. Doesn’t everyone? When my work suddenly takes a jump, I find myself wishing I could just leave it all behind for a minute and do whatever I want. And guess what? I did. At the beginning of summer (now over alas), I traveled to Ventura and rented a small cabin right off the beach. For a week I just took a break, and it was beautiful. And apparently, I needed money to complete this trip. You want to get away? Work for it, be smart with your funds, and I promise the reward will be worth it.
