Thank you to legendary reporter Jorge Ramos, author and journalist Paola Ramos, and moderator Tupac Zapata for an inspiring discussion at the Nick Beck investigative journalism series. The topics consisted of storytelling, accountability, and the power of media to create change within a democracy.

Jorge Ramos has spent decades fearlessly reporting the truth, advocating for immigrant communities, and giving a voice to stories that matter continuing to inspire the next generation of journalists and changemakers.

From wartime hospital wards to moments of humor, heartbreak, and unexpected friendship, The Hasty Heart came to life on the stage at the Theatre Academy at Los Angeles City College. 💙✨
Set during World War II in a military hospital in Burma, the production follows a group of recovering soldiers whose routines are disrupted by the arrival of a guarded Scottish corporal. As walls slowly come down, the story reveals the power of vulnerability, connection, and compassion in the middle of uncertainty.
Huge congratulations to the cast and crew for bringing such emotional depth, sharp comedy, and humanity to this timeless production. 🎭👏
