*Eighth Juzʾ*
This Juzʾ consists of two parts:
1. The remaining portion of *Surah Al-An‘am*

First Part: Remaining Portion of Surah Al-An'am
In this portion, four main topics are discussed:
1. Consolation to the Messenger
In this Surah, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is consoled. It is mentioned that these people are stubborn and continuously demand unnecessary miracles. Even if the dead were to speak to them, they still would not believe. The miracle of the Qur’an is sufficient for those who wish to believe.
2. Four Foolish Practices of the Mushrikeen
1. They used to assign separate shares in cattle for Allah and for their partners (false deities). They would not allow the share of their partners to mix with Allah’s share, but if Allah’s share mixed into that of their partners, they did not consider it wrong. (Ayah 135)
2. They would kill their daughters out of fear of poverty or disgrace. (Ayah 136)
3. They divided cattle into three categories:
* One reserved for their religious leaders
* One on which riding was prohibited
* One slaughtered in the name of other than Allah (Ayah 138)
4. They considered the unborn young of cattle lawful for men but unlawful for women; however, if the young was born dead, it was lawful for both men and women. (Ayah 139)
3. Two Blessings of Allah
1. Crops (agriculture)

4. The Ten Commandments (Wasaya)

5. Do not kill unjustly. (Ayah 151)
6. Do not consume the wealth of orphans unjustly. (Ayah 152)
7. Give full measure and weight. (Ayah 152)
8. Be just when speaking. (Ayah 152)
9. Fulfill the covenant of Allah. (Ayah 152)
10. Follow the Straight Path (Sirat al-Mustaqeem). (Ayah 153)

In the first three calls, clothing is mentioned. Within this context, Allah refutes the Mushrikeen who claimed that Allah commanded them to perform Tawaf naked.
In the fourth call, Allah encourages the اتباع رسول (following of the Messenger).
3. Dialogue Between the People of Jannah and Jahannam
The people of Jannah will say:
“Have you found the promise of Allah to be true?”
The people of Jahannam will admit it. They will request food and drink, but the people of Jannah will reply:
“Indeed, Allah has forbidden His blessings upon the disbelievers.”

Question No. 07:
Name the Companion of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in whose appearance Angel Jibreel (Gabriel) used to come when bringing revelation to the Prophet (peace be upon him)?
Answer:
Seventh Juzʾ
This Juzʾ consists of two parts:
1. The remaining portion of **Sūrah al-Mā’idah**
2. The beginning portion of **Sūrah al-An‘ām**
(First Part) Remaining Portion of Sūrah al-Mā’idah
There are three main topics in this section:
1. Praise of the Christians of Abyssinia (Habashah)
2. Some rulings regarding Ḥalāl and Ḥarām
3. Qiyāmah and the mention of Ḥaḍrat ‘Īsā (ʿalayhis-salām)
1. Praise of the Christians of Abyssinia
When the Qur’ān is recited before them, their eyes overflow with tears upon hearing it.
2. Some Rulings Regarding Ḥalāl and Ḥarām
* The kaffārah (expiation) for breaking an oath is to feed ten poor persons with two meals, or to clothe them, or to free one slave. If one cannot do any of these, then he must fast for three days.
* Alcohol (khamr), gambling, idols, and divining arrows (including dice, prize schemes, lotteries, etc.) are Ḥarām.
* In the state of Iḥrām, a Muḥrim may hunt sea animals but not land animals.
* Whoever enters the Ḥaram is granted safety.
* The Mushrikīn had declared four types of animals unlawful: Baḥīrah, Sā’ibah, Waṣīlah, and Ḥām.
* A command was given not to declare anything Ḥalāl or Ḥarām on one’s own authority.
3. Qiyāmah and the Mention of Ḥaḍrat ‘Īsā (ʿalayhis-salām)
On the Day of Qiyāmah, the Anbiyā’ (ʿalayhimus-salām) will be asked: When you conveyed Our message, what response were you given?
In this context, Allāh Taʿālā will remind Ḥaḍrat ‘Īsā (ʿalayhis-salām) of His favors upon him. Among these favors is the incident of the Mā’idah: when the Ḥawāriyyūn requested Ḥaḍrat ‘Īsā (ʿalayhis-salām) to ask Allāh to send down a heavenly table spread with food and drink. The table was sent down.
After mentioning these favors, Allāh Taʿālā will ask:
“O ‘Īsā, did you say to the people, ‘Take me and my mother as gods besides Allāh?’”
Ḥaḍrat ‘Īsā (ʿalayhis-salām) will reply:
“Subḥānaka (Glory be to You)! I only told them to worship You alone...” (and so on).
(Second Part) Beginning of Sūrah al-An‘ām
The beginning portion of Sūrah al-An‘ām in this Juzʾ discusses three main themes:
1. Tawḥīd
2. Risālah
3. Qiyāmah
1. Tawḥīd
In this Sūrah, the ḥamd, praise, greatness, and majesty of Allāh Taʿālā are described in detail.
2. Risālah
To console the Nabī (ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam), Allāh Taʿālā mentions eighteen Anbiyā’:
1. Ḥaḍrat Ibrāhīm (ʿalayhis-salām)
2. Ḥaḍrat Isḥāq (ʿalayhis-salām)
3. Ḥaḍrat Ya‘qūb (ʿalayhis-salām)
4. Ḥaḍrat Nūḥ (ʿalayhis-salām)
5. Ḥaḍrat Dāwūd (ʿalayhis-salām)
6. Ḥaḍrat Sulaymān (ʿalayhis-salām)
7. Ḥaḍrat Ayyūb (ʿalayhis-salām)
8. Ḥaḍrat Yūsuf (ʿalayhis-salām)
9. Ḥaḍrat Mūsā (ʿalayhis-salām)
10. Ḥaḍrat Hārūn (ʿalayhis-salām)
11. Ḥaḍrat Zakariyyā (ʿalayhis-salām)
12. Ḥaḍrat Yaḥyā (ʿalayhis-salām)
13. Ḥaḍrat ‘Īsā (ʿalayhis-salām)
14. Ḥaḍrat Ilyās (ʿalayhis-salām)
15. Ḥaḍrat Ismā‘īl (ʿalayhis-salām)
16. Ḥaḍrat al-Yasa‘ (ʿalayhis-salām)
17. Ḥaḍrat Yūnus (ʿalayhis-salām)
18. Ḥaḍrat Lūṭ (ʿalayhis-salām)
All of them were rightly guided. The Nabī (ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam) was instructed to follow their guidance, and success lies in following them.
3. Qiyāmah
* On the Day of Qiyāmah, Allāh will gather all mankind. (Āyah 12)
* On that Day, if punishment is removed from a person, it will be a great mercy from Allāh. (Āyah 16)
* The Mushrikīn will be asked: “Where are your partners?” They will lie and say, “We did not commit shirk.”
* The people of Jahannam will wish that they could be returned to the world so that they would not deny the Āyāt of Allāh and would become believers.
* The life of this world is nothing but play and amusement; the life of the Ākhirah is far better for those who fear Allāh. (Āyah 32)

*Sixth Juzʾ*
This Juzʾ consists of two parts:
1. The remaining portion of *Surah An-Nisa*
2. The beginning portion of *Surah Al-Ma'idah*
(First Part) The Remaining Portion of Surah An-Nisa
There are three main topics in this section:
1. Condemnation of the Jews
2. Condemnation of the Christians
3. Inheritance
1. Condemnation of the Jews:
They attempted to kill *حضرت عیسیٰ علیہ السلام*, but Allah تعالى protected *حضرت عیسیٰ علیہ السلام*.
2. Condemnation of the Christians:
They fell into exaggeration regarding *حضرت عیسیٰ علیہ السلام* and adopted the belief of *Aqeedah-e-Tasleeth* (Trinity).
3. Inheritance:
The shares of real sisters (*Ayni*) and consanguine sisters (*Allati*) are mentioned:
If there is one daughter, she receives one-half; if there are more than one, they receive two-thirds collectively. If there are brothers along with sisters, then the male receives double the share of the female.
(Second Part) The Beginning of Surah Al-Ma'idah
There are five main topics in this section:
1. *"Awfu bil-'Uqud"* – Fulfill every lawful covenant and contract, whether between you and your Rabb or between you and other people.

Question No. 5:

*Fifth Juzʾ*
This Juzʾ contains eight main themes:

2. Justice and Ihsan
3. Encouragement of Jihad
4. Condemnation of the hypocrites
5. Punishments for murder
6. Hijrah and Salat al-Khawf
7. A story
8. Encouragement to follow the straight path
1. Household Management Guidelines:
The first instruction given is that the man is the head of the woman. Regarding a disobedient wife, three measures are mentioned for the husband:
First, he should advise and counsel her. If she does not listen, then he may separate the beds. If she still does not comply, then as a final measure, within limits, he may discipline her physically.
2. Justice and Ihsan:
The command of justice and Ihsan is given so that collective and social life may also be set right.
3. Encouragement of Jihad:
Encouragement towards Jihad is given: do not fear death, for it can come even while sitting at home. Going out for Jihad does not guarantee death, nor does staying at home guarantee safety of life.
4. Condemnation of the Hypocrites:
The hypocrites are condemned, and Muslims are warned to be cautious of them. Beware! These people wish to turn you into disbelievers like themselves.
5. Punishments for Murder:
While describing the punishments for murder, a very severe tone is used: whoever intentionally kills a believer will abide in Hell forever. The meaning here is one who considers the killing lawful.
6. Hijrah and Salat al-Khawf:
Encouragement for Jihad was given, and within it Hijrah may also be required. During Jihad and Hijrah, there may be fear of the enemy at the time of prayer; therefore, Salat al-Khawf is explained.
7. A Story:
A man who appeared to be a Muslim but was in reality a hypocrite committed theft and placed the blame on a Jew. The matter reached the Prophet ﷺ, and he was about to give judgment against the Jew when a revelation was sent down. Allah informed that the thief was actually that hypocritical Muslim. The thief then fled to Makkah and openly became a disbeliever.
8. Encouragement to Follow the Straight Path:
Avoid obedience to Shaytan, for he is misleading. Follow the path of Abu al-Anbiya Ibrahim (ʿalayhi as-salam). Fulfill the rights of women. For the hypocrites, there is a severe punishment.❤️🌹🤲🏻
