Sonny is now 6 months old and is really starting to get the hang of navigating the great big world! He’s making great choices when it comes to socializing and is pausing to read the other dogs and is becoming a polite gentleman with his greetings. Adolescence is peaking over the horizon, and we’re excited to see how Sonny develops throughout this somewhat difficult age transition & ( with the help of his family) will help him each step of the way.

This handsome fella is Calvin! He can be a bit anxious and defaults to barking when over stimulated or stressed, which can make him intimidating to some people. Unfortunately a previous dog walker (not even a trainer!) used a shock collar on him which has caused his anxiety to worsen (surprise, surprise…). They have since fired the walker and called me to help build up his confidence through agility training and nose work exercises. Even after two sessions we’re seeing a lot of improvement with his reactivity and confidence!
Training doesn’t have to be “flashy” but it does need to be consistent.
We wanted to share with you a basic training exercise that we regularly practice with our board & train dogs and private, in-home clients.
Lack of impulse control is the cause of most issues that we find ourselves faced up against when out with our dogs in public, whether this be explosive reactivity or an overly excitable greeting!
We’re now taking reservation requests for 4th of July week! Be sure to contact us sooner than later as we usually book up a month or so in advance for this timeframe. Not only will you have the peace of mind knowing that your dog is safe, secure, and at peace with absolutely NO fireworks around- they’ll also have enrichment activities like hiking, training, agility, and personalized attention you’re unlikely to find anywhere else. ❤️ ☮️ ❤️

Our very own queen of all queens, Sadie, has made it through another trip around the sun! As usual, she still spends her days not caring about what anyone else thinks and doing whatever she damn pleases!
We’d of course like thank for ensuring that she eats nothing but the best and for always being nothing but thorough when it comes to her medical health and longevity!
Long live the queen!
