PS so many wonderful people came in yesterday - new customers and the old guard and wow! There is such a goodness and kindness in this world. Very grateful to everyone.

We appreciate all the love and support that has come our way since we announced the closing of Locali Hollywood.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we won’t be having our Sunday 11/5 shindig after all.

That written, if you’re in the area and want to come say goodbye / hello to some of the operators, Mariel and Melissa will both be there from 1pm - 4pm on Sunday 11/5.

Andddddd my daughter will run a long awaited lemonade stand, too. All proceeds will go to local charitable community causes benefitting women and children…besides $1 required for her labor and piggy bank.


There is certainly a killer party in all our futures together, but until then, we would love to see your faces under these bittersweet circumstances…if you’re in the area and it’s not an inconvenience and you’re wondering if maybe, just maybe, this time extra chipotle sauce will be gratis (spoiler alert: yes).

Again, it’s been a real joy to serve the community at large since 2009 and I look forward to continuing to do so in another form from our new spot soon.

PS. We are planning on a hanging out celebration 11/5 in the parking lot of our little plaza to say goodbye to Locali Hollywood. Details to come, but we would love to see you all there. 💚

As of November 10, 2023, Locali Hollywood will close.

Opened in 2009, Locali’s aim was to serve healthy food made with organic ingredients and LOVE to a diverse community of people from truly compassionate/ food passionate team members.

Since then, we have done it ALL - from winning 1st place in the 2010 Grilled Cheese Invitational to The Icycle Healthy Frozen Treat Bike to healthy vending machines to Bitcoin ATMs to multiple locations in LA to a packaged food line in Whole Foods to a franchise territory sold in Miami to licensed ghost kitchen locations in SoCal to creating award winning, deeply beloved, and unique ( ) plant based sandwiches, salads and smoothies for vegans, omnivores, vegetarians, pescatarians, gluten free eaters and keto lovers alike.

The list of people to thank for getting us to this point is truly endless and impossible to list. But for now, I must hail Mariel Mucino, our fearless and heart-centered manager in Hollywood for all the tenderness she has shown customers, vendors, staff and us, the founder owners, during this difficult time.

We have had the joy of both incredibly loyal employees and adored customers which was previously unfathomable. You all are rad beyond measure. Beyond.

Locali was everything a journey should be. We learned so much along the way, through both turmoil and triumph, to end up at square one in the end…
with hopefully, a better, and more at peace understanding, of the nature of reality.

We are better for it. The community is better for us having been here. Locali, you were a divinely inspired, delicious gift to many.

In the coming weeks - we kindly ask you please support us by visiting (early & often 🤣😇 ) to enjoy all your favorites, reward points and support small business in the twilight of this venture.

Your patronage of our food, online and in person, will mean everything.

Also, we politely ask you don’t bother us for recipes or try to bribe for such. It’s not a look.
