Congratulations to our First Lego League (FLL) robotics team Techno Coders for receiving the Rising Stars Award at the qualifying event and the Motivate Award at the regional. This is the first FLL season for our all-girls STEM team. Their innovation project focuses on saving corals from bleaching. They created a prototype for a coral habitat that can harness wave energy and adopted a coral named Coraline through Coral Gardeners. Coraline is now thriving in Fiji. The girls named their team Techno based on the Greek root word "techno," which means "art, craft, or practical skill." The name Techno reflects the passion of the girls. Go Techno Coders!
