We are very proud and pleased to have installed a new state of the art yard exterior beam system for our long time customers, PCA in their huge facility at Southgate. The system replaced a very old, out dated but high quality system which had just run its course in dependability..The alarm monitoring panel was also replaced and the new system has been tested successfully. DSS employed the method of double set-beam interface to bring down the incidence of nuisance alarms

Exciting news! New opportunity for Designer Sound Security. We have been asked to present a proposal for specially customized camera surveillance systems for residences on the Big Island of Hawaii. We are currently working on this exciting project to provide home owners on the big island with affordable compact camera systems that they can monitor from their laptops, PC, Mac, iPad, and all their devices. We hope to have more updates in the near future.

The rain brought much needed water for the our lovely Southern California plants. It also brought a huge number of false alarms and trouble conditions. With the collaboration of our central monitoring station, we have implemented a temporary hold on calling for these incidents.

Some of our customers with 24 hour monitored burglar alarm systems received phone calls from our conscientious operators at unearthly hours ( such as 4 am, midnight etc !! ) just to be informed of a low battery condition. We seriously try to avoid nuisance calls such as these, and during any future storms we will carefully get any responses of that nature, whilst ensuring that each customer's level of safety and security remains our priority.

Following on the heels of the storm we have had a lot of urgent service requests, most of which we have been able to respond to in record time !!! These calls have ranged in scope from adjusting a damaged alarm screen on a small residence, to re mounting cameras on top of high buildings. We at DSS always strive to provide excellent service.

Congratulations to our valued clients, Psychic Eye (Sherman Oaks and Torrance), to the Yang family residence, and Casa Blanca Restaurant for upgrading their monitored alarm systems by having DSS install the most effective radio(cellular) communicator unit available. Now they have no deed for dependence on unreliable and costly phone lines.

Camino Nuevo High School in Los Angeles has just experienced the efficient response of the LA Fire Department. Although their fire alarms were false ( no actual fire ), the information gathered is valuable. Roof duct fire detectors can cause a false alarm due to a build up of environmental dirt or from electrical interference related to the A/C system. DSS had a technician on the spot within 30 minutes of the emergency service request !!!!

We have recently been asked to provide additional services for the Camino Nuevo Charter Schools group, in central Los Angeles. We are pleased and proud to offer the full fire system service testing, 24 hour monitoring for fires, as well as the burglar alarm systems.
