We give away our power all the time when we feel anger, frustration, judgments toward others, and hate. Some of our responses are just habitual ways we've learned to react to the world and to what makes us feel uncomfortable. There is power in love; power that can unify us, that can bring great joy, that can release past pain. See if you can tap into that power today. This is not about ignoring negative feelings. It’s about seeing a bigger picture and where those feelings might fit in next to more beautiful and satisfying feelings. So when you feel frustrated or judgy, pause and try bringing love into the situation for yourself and for others. Notice how you feel when you do this. Love is power. Take back your power.

How about being gentle with yourself today? I’ve been thinking about this concept of unconditional compassion a lot lately, as I see it as the highest form of love we can have. While there are many steps on the Path to Unconditional Compassion, and the path may look different for everyone, gentleness seems to be something we can all deepen. I notice people can be really hard on themselves and others, which makes having compassion more challenging. Try being gentle with yourself today and notice if it expands your ability to be compassionate with yourself or others.
