Hello everyone,

This is an informational video for people in southern California affected by the wildfires
1. Use Watch Duty App: To recognize Warning and Evacuation zones. You can also find Evacuation shelters for pets and people.
2. Food: There is boil water advisory as water quality lowers due to brush fires in Palisades and Eaton Canyon. Use bottled water for drinking and cooking if possible. Some non-perishable foods like energy bars, granola, and Peanuts. Calico Fish House, Pie Free Pizza, and Be U Vietnamese Restaurant are offering to feed the evacuees
3. Internet: AT&T: Unlimited talk, text, and data through Feb 6
4. Housing: Airbnb is providing free temporary housing. Uber and Lyft are using free rides for evacuees using codes WILDFIRE25, CAFIRELIFE25
5. Protection: Please triple mask if you don’t have any N95. Use sunscreen lotion, hoodies and sunglasses to cover yourself.
6. Work: Non emergency workers need not go to work/ work remotely
Senate Bill 1044 effective Jan 2023 says that during emergency condition like wild fire if your work place or your home is affected or you have a reasonable belief that getting to workplace or home is unsafe. All California Workers are legally protected during this emergency condition.
