For 30+ years, Project Involve has been Film Independent's most vital and impactful program. From January to October, filmmakers in various tracks work in short film production teams.

In addition to this hands-on experience, filmmakers get access to career-changing opportunities and experiences, including mentorship, conversations, events and cash grants.

Alumni include Andrew Ahn (‘The Wedding Banquet’), Linda Yvette Chavez (‘Flamin' Hot’), Jon M. Chu (‘Wicked’), Jomo Fray (‘Nickel Boys’) and Lulu Wang (‘The Farewell’).
