What does your mom look like? Swipe ➡️
“My mom looks like a beautiful princess” said one of my kinder kids 🥹🥰
My elementary class sketched portraits of their moms with colored pencil, then painted with watercolor. Some added details with sharpie and oil pastel.
The crowns on some were inspired by ’s Queen Mom paintings.
What a fun and thoughtful way to celebrate the moms in our life!
Happy Mothers Day weekend!

Egg dyeing over the years - our shaving cream experiment failed but my favorite discovery was dyeing white vs brown eggs in the same bright dye! Results were so beautiful 🥚

Screen-free travel toys I always pack (and actually use) as a creative mom of 3. These are the things that:
– keep my kids engaged on planes + at restaurants
– don’t create mess or overwhelm
– get used again and again in different ways
Save this for your next trip and comment TRAVEL for the full list!

Collaborating on a mural is one of my favorite things to do with preschoolers. The outcome is always gorgeous and the process is even more joyful!
Here, ages 18m - 3y children sprayed and painted with liquid watercolors onto paper canvas for our first layer…. Stay tuned for layer 2!
