Serial social entrepreneur and founder of YEBies Daniel Kawah of USC’s MSSE is back at it again with a new business. DONO, is a social impact auction platform that connects fans to exclusive collectibles and memorabilia from their favorite athletes, entertainers, and brands to support causes around the world. The idea behind DONO was developed when a client of Daniel’s tried to sell one of his NBA awards to raise money for his non-profit organization. The player ended up actually losing money during the process and the non-profit was not able to increase revenue, awarenesses, or social impact. Daniel is now gearing up this summer to help other athletes and musicians not make the same mistake. He wants to use DONO to create a world where athletes and entertainers use the power of their celebrity to drive social impact one community at a time!
