Here's a simpler and cheaper way to create a whisk texture wall application with texture paint. Great for a Holiday weekend project.
1. Apply texture paint on entire wall surface, let it dry.
2. Apply second coat starting at the top and working down to the floor.
3. With a straw broom head, streak the second coat vertically in a single stroke starting at the top and working your way down. keep streaking vertical lines to your desired texture.
Wait 24 hours and you're done!
Tip: Do not take on more wall area than you can steak in 15-20 minutes.

Here's a neat idea for storing fishing rods in your garage.
1. Buy a length of 1" PVC.
2. Drill a 1/4" hole through it every 2".
3. Drill a 1/2" hole through one side of the 1/4" holes you've already drilled.
4. Cut the PVC into 1" pieces with the holes directly in the center of the 1" piece.
5. Mount the PVC sleeves onto a flat wood board, mount the board on the wall... DONE!

If anyone in your family needed crutches in the past, you probably have them sitting in a closet somewhere. They were so expensive, you just want to keep them... just in case!
How about we turn lemons into lemonade? A few screws, some scrap lumber, and a little paint makes a great looking bookcase. A much better way to store your old crutches, don't you agree?

On hard surface floors such as hardwood or tile, It’s a very good idea to place felt on the bottom of all of your furniture legs. This will protect your floors from scratches you'll ask me later how to remove... You can use any felt or cloth material, or buy "leg pads" at any home center.

Water is not your friend when it comes to longevity of your hardwood floors. Because wood is susceptible to water damage, you want to minimize the contact that your floor has with water. To wash your floors, buy a hardwood floor cleaner. Your floors will thank you for many years to come.
