Dear friends and followers,
It’s me - wishing you a very happy and healthy New Year. I hope this year brings joy and love to your lives, and peace to our planet. Today is also the 15th birthday of my little Champion. I adopted Champion from a nonprofit animal welfare organization in Israel 10 years ago, when he was just 5, and every moment with him has been a lesson for life and a magical reminder that soul-medicine can grow fur, and that pure love truly exists and can be adopted in tiny packages. I’ve also learned that pets, just like people, can live longer on a balanced plant-based diet and most importantly, I’ve learned that everyone can become a champion at something, and can be the best and the first at that one thing that fuels their passion. These are messages I always bring to my lectures. So if you haven’t found your championship yet, may 2026 be the year it finds you! Happy World Teacher’s Day! Teachers aren’t just those in schools, anyone who teaches us a meaningful lesson in life is a teacher.
Jane Goodall, who passed away this week, was an incredible teacher of life. Though I never met her in-person, she taught me that everything is possible. I first learned about Jane at , which inspired me to start Vegedu and promote humane and environmental education. The second time was through her film , which I watched at the during my national tour. I highly recommend it.
At Vegedu, we honor Jane’s legacy not just on Teacher’s Day, but every day, by continuing to spread humane and environmental education.

Today, we’re celebrating DOGust 1st - the universal birthday for all shelter and rescue dogs. They say that when you find your furry match and true love, you start to look alike…. but we have no idea what they are talking about 😂
