Almost one year ago, in June 2025, the rise in ICE raids across Los Angeles and our farming communities moved us to start Food for Families, our monthly meal bag distribution program. We’re immensely grateful to our food community—chefs, farmers, distributors, and supporters—whose tireless efforts have helped us feed thousands of families facing both the direct impact of immigration raids and persistent food insecurity due to SNAP cuts and more. With the help of local farmers, chefs and the kindness of our market shoppers and donors, we will be providing groceries and healthy prepared meals this week for over 100 families directly impacted by the raids and many of whom are sheltering in place. We are so grateful for our beautiful and giving community. ❤️
