Yesterday was our 10 year wedding anniversary! I cannot believe how fast the time has flown by and it's hard to remember life before you. You're still the best choice I've ever made. Words could never do my love justice. ❤️💋

To think 11 years ago, I held you as you took your last breath. I thought for sure it would be easier by now, that it would hurt less...but it doesn't. I know you are with me everyday and I see your kindness shine through my boy. You'd really enjoy the people your grandchildren are becoming. We try our best to carry on a legacy of love. Missing you Mama. Today and everyday.

Who doesn't love summer?! But with summer comes heat, bugs, and lots of pool time. So, what if you have a newborn? It's fine to take your baby outside- but remember their skin is very thin and sunscreen is not recommended for a baby that young. Luckily, they have hats and clothes that are SPF protected, so stock up on those. Babies can get very hot very quickly so be sure to have shade nearby or walk with a little fan to keep them cool. Never cover the stroller with a blanket during the summer because it will create trapped heat and will cause more harm than good.
Rinse baby off as soon as possible after swimming to remove the chlorine and chemicals from their skin. Try to avoid using any kind of insect repellent but you can use essential oils or even try https://www.natpat.com/collections/homepage
I hope you all have a fun and safe summer!

Let’s Chat About: Breast Pumps
How do you know if you need a pump? What size fl**ge do I get and how can I measure? Are some pumps better than others? Can I share a pump with my friend? What pump is the most discrete for pumping at work?
The truth is not all pumps are created equal! It really will depend on your needs. Luckily, most insurance companies provide you with a pump (thanks Affordable Care Act!). It’s important to read all the instructions and sterilize the parts before use. Never share pump accessories and some personal pumps shouldn’t be shared at all. When in doubt, book an in-home lactation session and we can walk through all your pumping questions.
