Milwaukee Earns AGZA AFTC Seal

A growing list of outdoor power equipment from Milwaukee Tool has successfully earned the AGZA AFTC Seal following extensive field testing and evaluation by commercial landscape maintenance operators.

The testing process assesses equipment performance, durability, and worker usability for demanding commercial workloads in real-world conditions. Additional Milwaukee products are expected to undergo AGZA AFTC evaluation and certification in the future as the company expands its professional outdoor equipment lineup.

AGZA Robotics Update:

AGZA recently conducted independent oversight of Mean Green Mowers’ robotics system, now enhanced with third-party autonomous software. This technology currently enables autonomous operation on their 60-inch Vanquish model.

While the software is not yet AGZA AFTC Certified, we’ve begun evaluating its capabilities and how it integrates with AFTC Certified Mean Green equipment.

Looking ahead, AGZA plans to conduct formal AFTC testing with autonomous software providers to ensure solutions are safe, productive, and cost-effective.

Our industry needs clear, independent data on true operating costs and ROI—and we’re working to deliver it.

City request for AGZA AFTC independent evaluation of the STIHL AP KMA KombiSystem

This is a strong example of AGZA AFTC Certification in action—where independent data and evaluation are requested directly by municipal management and workforce teams. Historical AFTC testing results, along with detailed case studies (including up to four years of daily commercial workload usage), were provided on the STIHL KombiSystem.

A field tutorial and extended “try before you buy” program were also completed. Updates on progress and results will be shared by the end of this spring.
