State parks and caves should also be added to the list below. In California. A day pass at the state parks is good for multiple parks on the same day, but be sure to inquire about special parks exempted from it. Plus, if you should desire an annual or seasonal pass of one kind or another, be sure to get pass ahead of time in case you don't travel by where they are offered for sale. Hence, why I ended up getting a day pass earlier this year (April, I think).
