Holy Land Democracy Project

The Holy Land Democracy Project (HLDP) brings Israel education to charter, public, private and religious schools throughout Southern and Central California

For over a dozen years HLDP, an initiative of the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles, has taken 203 teachers from 94 schools to Israel. The HLDP teachers attend a teacher's weekend retreat prior to their trip where they, among other learning, are trained to teach the HLDP's 5-lesson course The Many Faces of Israel.
