It's hard to believe, but some kids don't actually know what it means to sound out a word.
When you model it for them, you'll get a lot of information.
Do they remember every sound once they see it in a word or do they forget some?
Can they blend words with three letter letters? How about four?
If you're working with your little one on reading at home, hop on the waiting list for my new course! It's coming in June.

you don’t need to know all the rules. You need to know the right ones.
The sounds and patterns that unlock reading for a new reader are simple, consistent, and completely learnable. I built an entire method around exactly those patterns, and nothing else.
If your child knows their letter sounds and is ready to start reading words, that's the gap my program will close.
Message me the word WAITLIST so that you can be the first to grab it when it's available in June!
