In July 2014, IDF soldier Staff Sergeant Oron Shaul was killed in battle in Gaza during Operation Protective Edge and kidnapped by Hamas terrorists.
In January 2025, the IDF successfully recovered Oron from Gaza and returned him to Israel for a proper burial.
It has now been cleared for publication that, in a covert operation that led to Oron’s recovery, Israeli security forces detained a Hamas terrorist in Gaza who allegedly held Oron for nearly a decade. A prosecutor’s declaration has been filed against the terrorist ahead of a planned indictment.

We at Pride for Israel, a division of StandWithUs, are deeply disturbed by the antisemitic incident at the Bolleras al V***r event in Barcelona, Spain on May 30, 2026.
As we begin June Pride month, two Jewish women were surrounded and forced to leave after participants noticed one was wearing a Star of David. Organizers attempted to force the women to denounce their own identity before saying they were not welcome and needed to leave. A mob of self-righteous, supposedly progressive women stood by, and many joined in with shouts of “Free Palestine” as these two women were forcibly removed from the premises. The incident is a throwback to bigotry we have not seen for decades. For more:

On what would have been Marilyn Monroe’s 100th birthday, did you know that in 1957, the Hollywood icon kicked a soccer ball during a friendly match between Israel’s Hapoel Tel Aviv and a team of American All-Stars, celebrating nine years since the rebirth of the Jewish state? Incredible!

Israeli chef Raz Shabtai broke down in tears, embraced by his cheering staff in Miami. Moments earlier, Michelin had announced that his North Miami restaurant, Mutra, had become the first kosher restaurant ever awarded a Michelin star - the highest honor in the restaurant industry. The restaurant, which opened just 15 months ago, features dishes taking inspiration from the culinary traditions and flavors of Jerusalem and is named after Shabtai's grandmother. The achievement marks a historic moment not just for kosher dining worldwide, but for Miami's thriving restaurant scene. Mutra was one of only two new one-star recipients in the entire state of Florida, and the first restaurant anywhere to receive a 2026 Michelin star.
