After seeing that horrible video of a plastic straw being stuck in a sea turtle's nose - we knew we had to do something about it. We created HAY! HAY!

Straws - natural drinking straws made from wheat stems! They are 100% compostable and are gluten-free. We launched HAY! Straws to take a stance against single-use plastics. In the USA roughly 500 million plastic straws are used every day. Single-use plastic straws are used once and then tossed in the garbage. Sadly, they end up polluting our land and oceans, and causing harm to wildlife. We’re here to give consumers an alternative, because plastic sucks! Straws are made from natural wheat—yes, they're actually straws made from straw! Once you're done with your HAY! Straw, toss it in the compost. Unlike plastic straws, HAY! Straws will break down naturally, returning to the circle of life. We hope you enjoy them!
