Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Assistant or Teacher role located in Los Angeles, CA. The Assistant or Teacher will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with providing quality care to young children. This includes assisting with lesson planning and curriculum development, facilitating activities, communicating with staff, parents, and children, and supporting classroom management.
We are looking to hire up to 2 assistants and 2 lead teachers for the following age ranges:
- 18-36 months.
Qualifications
- Qualifications in Early Childhood Education: 6 or more CD units or A.A. in Child Development
- CPR, first aid, mandated reporter certifications REQUIRED
- Immunization record up to date REQUIRED: TB, MMR, Influenza
- Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development
- Strong communication skills with an ability to work collaboratively with staff, children, and parents
- Ability to provide Kindergarten readiness support to children
- Experience in managing classroom behavior is preferred
- A positive, flexible, and adaptable attitude is a plus
