Beautiful piece by fiber artist Lillian Holm who taught weaving at Kingswood will be on display at LACMA Los Angeles County Museum of Art as part of the "Scandinavian Design and the United States" exhibit.
Lillian Holm's piece from the FIA's Collection titled "First Sights of New York" will be traveling the states and will make its way to the Milwaukee Art Museum—on view May 15 – September 7, 2020—and then on to the LACMA Los Angeles County Museum of Art—on view November 8, 2020 – February 15, 2021—for the exhibition "Scandinavian Design and the United States." If you're traveling or live near either museum, be sure to stop by to check out this spectacular specimen of a woven textile.
