Thank you families for the incredible gift of our school. KIPP Poder was a truly amazing place. It could not have happened without all of you. Please know that you will forever be in my heart. This amazing community are seeds that were buried and that will flower into something incredibly powerful. Watch and see what our incredible families, students, and staff do for years to come. Always remember you are beautiful, you are gifted, and you are powerful. This is my last message as the leader of this incredible dream that couldn’t have happened without each and everyone of you. Thank you for the incredible gift that is each of you.

So honored that we were a part of the San Gabriel Valley Pride Tour. KIPP Poder was at the Pride Mixer, Resource Fair, and Concert yesterday in Baldwin Park. So much gratitude for all of the amazing community members who stopped by our booth to learn more about KIPP Poder and learn how to create amazing Drag Queen puppets!!

At KIPP Poder we strive to be an inclusive environments for all of our students and families. Honoring, celebration, and learning from identities matters and is at the heart of our work. So honored to be a part of a event that celebrates and honors LGBTQIA+ community members.

We are so excited to get to speak to community members and families about KIPP Poder. We are also sharing lots of amazing resources! At KIPP Poder we believe in partnering with our community!

Gratitude for our Founding Expanded Learning Team, our Poderosos, and our amazing families. We were able to compete today in our first cheer competition! Our Poderosos worked so hard to prepare for this day. We are so proud of each of you and love you all so much!

Our Poderosos this week went to the California Science Center for the first time. They had so much fun and connected their field trip experience with learnings from our ELA units! From connecting transportation from the past and present to learning more about creatures with unique features, our Poderosos made deep connections during our trip!

At KIPP Poder we celebrate our learning throughout the year by engaging in field trips in which we see what we have learned in action!

So much gratitude for all of our chaperones, staff, and also for District’s 9 Council member, Curren D. Price Jr. A member of his district team, Mrs. Joella Valdez, and a proud KIPP Poder parent bestowed us with certificates for each of our Poderosos honoring their first trip to the California Science Center. An amazing resource that we were honored to enjoy in District 9. We are so grateful for Council Member Price and his amazing team!
