Cherokee Village, AR, April 12, 2018 – Rosemary Lopez, mother of two, is a graduate from Ozarka College and a current student at Drury University completing her Bachelor of Arts in Human Services. She is a Sharp county resident and an Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund recipient for Spring 2018 .

Rosemary continues “The ASPSF scholarship fund has helped me so much. The very first time I received this award, I had just found out that the motor in my van was cracked. The scholarship award helped me to make a down payment on a car. I have used the ASPSF Scholarship awards for my car, monthly electric bills, and repairs. I cannot express how much the support of the ASPSF Board members and donors has meant to me. This process has raised my confidence in myself and helped me to make a difference in my life and my children’s lives. If I could offer any advice to other single parents it would be to never give up on yourself or your education.”
