if the tuesdays meeting weren’t great for your schedule or you really want a position in our board, we got you covered! our meetings from now on will be held on THURSDAYS AT 8PM in the SRB Chicanxs/Latinxs Resource Center. On our first meeting this quarter we will also be having an election for our new Vice-President!

Marina Silva se formou em História e, na política, integrou o Partido Revolucionário Comunista, ao lado do sindicalista Chico Mendes. Já no PT, em 1988, foi vereadora. Também foi deputada estadual e, em 1995, tornou-se a mais jovem senadora eleita no País, aos 36 anos, tendo renovado o mandato até 2011.
Foi ministra do Meio Ambiente nos dois mandatos de Lula, mas na reeleição do Presidente começou a divergir do governo e deixou o cargo em 2008. Em agosto de 2009, Marina trocou o PT pelo PV, para se lançar candidata à Presidência da República. Com 22 milhões de votos, foi derrotada nas urnas e, em 2013, articulou para a fundação do seu novo partido, o Rede Sustentabilidade.

Even though it has been a while since we lasted posted here, we have big and exciting news!
BRASA is hosting BrazUSC 2016 at the University of Chicago on our first weekend back from Spring Break, 8th and 9th of April.
The conference will be mostly directed to Undergraduate students and will be composed of two days of lectures from innovative, ground-breaking, patriotic and outstanding guest speakers.
Our first confirmed guest speaker for the conference is: Sérgio Moro!

Rolando agora na BRASA Leadership Summit
Os estudantes serão divididos em times e terão a missão de desenvolver uma solução inovadora para algum problema da atualidade brasileira.
Cada idéia será lapidada através de ferramentas como árvore de problema e lean canvas. O final da jornada culminará no elevator pitch de cada grupo sobre sua idéia e uma reflexão.
Além disso, os alunos serão diretamente orientados por um excelente time de mentores com muita experiência empreendedora.
