Screening & discussion: November 16 from 10am to 12:30 at Sholem. A nostalgic celebration of the Jewish community that once thrived within the East LA neighborhood of Boyle Heights. Created by oral historian Ellie Kahn for Jewish Historical Society of Southern California. Kahn will be present for the discussion. All are welcome. Free to attend.

OPEN HOUSE THIS SUNDAY!
The presentation will be for prospective, new, and returning families. Check-in at 10am, coffee & bagels provided, presentation will begin around 10:15ish. This is a great opportunity for your kids to check out our non-religious Jewish Sunday school classes – and we will be having our first klezmer band rehearsal of the year!
