Did you know this about The Goonies? It took makeup artists Thomas R. Burman and Bari Dreiband-Burman up to 5 hours daily to apply the prosthetic to actor John Matuszak.

This prosthetic was a complex latex prosthetic equipped with a functional prosthetic eye. Which means…. Yes….John Matuszak only had one eye during filming.

The prosthetic was sensitive to water, so when they saw the ship, came much concern.
