During our AAPI celebrations, children embraced their creativity by crafting their own Nón Lá hats during Vietnam Week.

With colorful paper plates, vibrant markers, and playful construction paper, they joyfully transformed these simple materials into unique headpieces that reflected their imagination.

As they proudly showcased their creations to one another, each design told its own story of culture and creativity, filled with admiration.

It was a delightful celebration of art, unity, and the rich heritage of the AAPI community. 🇻🇳✨

Tiny voices singing in Spanish, little feet moving to the music, children responding naturally in another language, and joyful moments woven throughout the day… there’s something pretty magical about it. 🌎✨

At World City Center, Spanish is woven naturally into the rhythm of the classroom through music, movement, storytelling, play, conversation, and connection.

No pressure. No memorization. Just meaningful immersion through joyful everyday experiences, one song, story, snack conversation, and dance move at a time. 💛

Play is powerful.

Research consistently shows that young children learn best through hands-on exploration, movement, creativity, collaboration, imagination, and meaningful play experiences.

Through play, children build the foundations for problem solving, literacy, language development, critical thinking, confidence, and social-emotional development.

If you think back to your own childhood, how many of your favorite memories, friendships, discoveries, and moments of joy were also built through play?

This is learning. ✨

Through the “playful chaos” of splat painting, preschoolers turn blank canvases into imaginative masterpieces.

This energetic process does more than create art; it nurtures emotional expression, exploration, and teamwork, celebrating the vivid creativity of early childhood. 🖼️💫

To kick off AAPI Month, our preschoolers and toddlers immersed themselves in Korean culture. After reading the charming book Bee-bim Bop!, the children explored the tactile world of rice through sensory play.

The week culminated in a Bibimbap tasting, where the children discovered the bold, vibrant flavors of this traditional dish. It was a joyful experience that successfully planted the seeds of cultural appreciation in our youngest learners. ✨

This week, we celebrate the educators who make World City Center what it is. 🤍

The comforters.
The storytellers.
The problem-solvers.
The facilitators of learning.
The people who kneel down to listen, hold tiny hands, encourage independence, and create spaces where children feel safe enough to grow.

Thank you to our incredible WCC educators for the love, patience, creativity, and care you pour into our children every single day. The work you do matters deeply, and we see it in the joy, confidence, and curiosity of the children in your classrooms.

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to the heart of WCC. ✨

Let’s explore emotions with a fun water and tissue paper activity! Inspired by ‘The Color Monster,’ preschoolers use colored tissue paper and spray bottles to express emotions visually.

This hands-on experience promotes emotional literacy, self-awareness, and empathy, while developing fine motor skills and cognitive skills through color blending.

Working in groups also enhances social skills and cooperative play, making this activity great for nurturing emotional intelligence in young learners. 🎨✨
