Meet Naomi Bernstein. 🎸

Naomi has been a cornerstone of the SoundLife family for years, alongside her siblings Nathalie and Isaac. As a longtime piano student, Naomi never stayed in just one lane—she followed her curiosity wherever it led. From mastering classical pieces and reading complex scores to songwriting and fronting a band, she embraced every facet of being a musician.

In this clip, watch Naomi bring her genuine heart and spirit to a cover of "Teenage Dirtbag." 🎤✨

Now away at college, Naomi is continuing to excel and carve out her own unique path. Teaching her was a true joy because of the sincerity and passion she brought to every lesson. We couldn't think of a better way to wrap up this month than by celebrating a young woman who isn't afraid to be exactly who she is.

We miss you, Naomi! Keep shining. 🌟

🎶 Marlborough Summer x SoundLife Music Academy 🎶

Throwback to when we were featured in the Marlborough School's Fall 2025 Newsletter! Last summer, SoundLife Music Academy collaborated with the prestigious Marlborough School to launch new music programs that truly struck a chord with the students.

As an elite all-girls institution, Marlborough provides the perfect environment for young women to explore their creativity and find their voices—a mission we are honored to support. The co-ed Summer School is an institution that so many children and parents look forward to each and every year.

Last year Campers dove into Rock band, Pop band, Intro to Music Production, and Intro to Acoustic Guitar as well as private lessons for guitar, piano, and drums, receiving instruction tailored specifically to their skill levels.

The Power of Connection: Our Music Appreciation class evolved into a vibrant, social hub where students could practice and share their love for music in a relaxed, fun atmosphere.

When students are given the space to explore music freely with the right guidance, they don't just thrive musically—they thrive socially.

We are already looking forward to making Summer 2026 even louder, livelier, and more fun!

This International Women’s Month, we are beyond excited to announce our March Student of the Month: Indiana!

Indiana has been a powerhouse member of the SoundLife community since 2023. After taking a short break from the stage, she returned with an absolute roar at Showcase XXVII this past December. To say she owned the stage would be an understatement!

Under the mentorship of her instructor, Anna, Indiana has been refining her skills as a dual-threat performer—mastering both the piano and her incredible vocal range. Her journey is a masterclass in Radical Resilience; she showed us all that stepping away to find your spark only makes your return that much more magnetic.

Indiana, your dedication and growth over the last two years have been an inspiration to the entire SL family. We are so proud of the artist you are becoming, and we can’t wait to hear what you’ve got "cookin" for the next showcase!

Help us celebrate Indiana! Drop a "🔥" or a "🎹" in the comments below!

Some students don’t just join a band—they transform it. 🎤✨

As we continue celebrating the powerhouse voices of International Women’s Month, we are thrilled to honor our February Student of the Month: Charlie.

From the moment Charlie stepped up as the lead vocalist for GRB, the entire energy shifted. A band that had been growing together for years suddenly found its spark, its glue, and its undeniable frontwoman. Charlie didn’t just bring a commanding voice to the stage; she brought a fearless leadership that lifted every musician around her.

At Showcase XXVI and the recent Battle of the Bands, we watched Charlie transform from a student into a magnetic performer. Alongside her bandmates—Zeke, Bryce, Jimmy, and Ollie—she helped turn GRB into a unified, electrifying force. Her effortless confidence and unforgettable presence showed us all what it looks like when talent meets personality.

Charlie, as you move on to your next chapter with a packed schedule, we didn't want to miss the chance to spotlight the mark you've made on the SoundLife community. You showed us how fun, performance, and confidence come together to make magic.

Thank you for your voice, your humor, and your energy. We are so proud to have been part of your journey, and we know you’ll continue to be a star in everything you do!

The Art of the Storyteller. 🎹✨

As we celebrate International Women’s Month, we’re looking back at a moment that perfectly captures why we do what we do. Meet SoundLife senior, Sarah Parmet.

Sarah is a phenomenal, multi-hyphenate talent—a Producer, Songwriter, Pianist, and a leader in our community. This clip is a throwback to a solo performance from a few years ago where Sarah shared an original song and the story behind it.

The room went silent. The audience was completely captivated.

It wasn't just Sarah's technical brilliance on the piano that moved the room; it was her vulnerability and leadership. Being a songwriter means having the bravery to share your story, and Sarah has always led by example.

Sarah, as you prepare to graduate this year, we are in awe of the artist you’ve become. You aren't just playing music; you are producing your own future. The confidence you showed on that stage years ago has only grown, and we know you’re going to take that same captivating energy into your next chapter.

The world needs more creators like Sarah.

The Next Generation of Female Leadership. 🎓🎸

As we continue to celebrate International Women’s Month, we couldn’t think of a better person to spotlight than SoundLife senior, Laurel Skaggs.

At SoundLife, our mission is to empower young women to find their voice, own their space, and lead with confidence. Laurel is the living embodiment of that mission. As she prepares to head off to college this fall, she leaves behind a legacy of hard work, grit, and incredible musical growth.

Watching Laurel evolve from a student into a true leader has been nothing short of incredible. Whether she’s perfecting a difficult piece or inspiring younger students at a showcase, her dedication to the craft shows that being a "rockstar" is about more than just the music—it’s about the character you build along the way.

Laurel, you are a trailblazer in your own right. We are so proud to have been a part of your journey, and we know that the confidence you’ve built on our stages will carry you through every challenge college has to offer.

The future of music and leadership is in great hands.

Join us in celebrating Laurel! Drop a "✨" or a message of luck below for this amazing senior!

Behind every great performer is a mentor who showed them the way. 🎸✨

This International Women’s Month, we are turning the spotlight toward the powerhouse women who lead inside and outside of the classroom. Meet the instructors of SoundLife Music Academy: Ell, Christa, Chloe, Emily, Anna, and Menea.

These aren't just teachers—they are professional musicians, intentional creators, and world-class mentors. They don’t just teach our students how to play; they teach them how to lead.

From the first chord to the final bow, these women are the architects of the Creativity and Confidence we see in lessons every day. They show our students—especially our young girls—that there is a seat at the table for them in the music industry, as long as they have the grit and the skill to claim it.

To Ell, Christa, Chloe, Emily, Anna, and Menea: Thank you for your dedication, your artistry, and for being the heartbeat of the SoundLife community. We are better because of your leadership.

Drop a "🤘" in the comments to show some love for these incredible mentors!

When we say we build leaders, we mean it. 🎸✨

This National Women’s Month, we are beyond proud to celebrate SoundLife Alum and current Harvard student

We’ve watched Natalie’s entire journey unfold—from her very first chords on a toy guitar to her becoming the intentional, professional-level songwriter you see here. She didn't just learn notes; she built the deep, transferable skills we champion: radical resilience, creative adaptability, and real-world presence.

Swipe up 👈 to watch Natalie perform her breathtaking original song, “Slipping.”

Natalie, we can’t wait to see where your leadership and confidence take you next.
