S*K STREETWEAR had the pleasure of going to Cesar Chavez Elementary in El Sereno this year for the "Tools for School" backpack gievaway. 70 backpaks were given out to kids who participate in the LA's Best After School Enrichment program. We would like to thank everyone who partcipated and making this event possible. The smiles that we recieved that day make this event worth having. A Big Thanks to Adriana Marie Photography for the awesome pictures. To Precision Riders and Luis Fajardo for all their support.Enjoy and hope you like them

Hey everyone a message from our adviser: (NTSU HUSKIES)
Hello NTSU members,
I hope this email finds you well. I just wanted to let you know that I was recently appointed the new director of the Honors Program at ELAC. If you're not familiar with it, the Honors Program offers student a rich and rewarding educational experience, and will help support your transfer efforts. Information regarding the Honors Program and/or classes is available in the class schedule for fall. You may also email me if you have questions or would like further information about it. Also, please keep in mind that I will still be teaching for the Chicana/o Studies Department, but only two classes each semester. I will continue to serve as the NTSU advisor and am teaching a night course, Ch/S 47, Mexican American Women in Society, to help assist non-traditional students. I am also co-director of the newly formed Latina Leadership Academy, which is geared to help Latina female students on campus. I hope that you will consider taking an Honors class , my Ch/S 47 class, and/or the Latina Leadership Academy if possible. Please know that I am committed to helping you succeed at ELAC. Let me know how I may be of service. Enjoy the remainder of your summer. I wish you well.
