🌟 In today’s we focus on the Gospel (Luke 14:1, 7-14), Jesus tells us to be generous not with those who can give us something, but rather with those in need. Jesus teaches us to be inclusive — especially those who can’t give us anything back. 💛 When we share and invite others in, we are following His example of love. ✨

🌟 En el de hoy nos centramos en el Evangelio (Lucas 14:1, 7-14). Jesús nos dice que seamos generosos no con quienes pueden darnos algo, sino con quienes lo necesitan. 😇 Today our church celebrates St. Jeanne Jugan, Patron Saint of the elderly and the poor.

She was a humble woman, who at a young age lost her father at sea. However, she was loving and caring. One day she saw an older woman in the streets and decided to bring her back to her apartment and give her a place to rest. From that moment she became an advocate for the elderly, especially those who were alone.

Soon others joined her mission and she founded the 'Little Sisters of the Poor.' By 1850, over 100 nuns were taking care of the elderly with the love and respect they deserved. She wanted to follow Jesus’ example of loving unconditionally, especially being a servant to the poor. 💛 She reminds us that any good deed can give everyone a better quality of life.

In today's second reading we are called to reflect on “The Lord disciplines the one He loves.” (Hebrews 12:5-7) ✨ Many times life gets hard but we must remember that our outlook matters. Let's work on putting a positive spin during these circumstances, for God’s correction is not punishment - it is love shaping us into who we’re meant to be. 💖🙏 He is our father and we must trust that every difficulty we face, will bring us closer to Him.

En la segunda lectura de hoy, se nos invita a reflexionar sobre: ​​"El Señor disciplina a quien ama" (Hebreos 12:5-7). ✨ Muchas veces la vida se pone difícil, pero debemos recordar que nuestra perspectiva importa. 🌹✨ is here and today we honor the 1st Saint from the Americas! Happy Feast Day to St. Rose of Lima! She loved Jesus so much that she prayed every day (sometimes only sleeping 2 hours to have more time to pray). St. Rose helped people who were poor or sick. 💖 She used to wear a crown of thorns (we often depict her in images with a crown of roses!) 🌸

Today's we analyze Hebrews 12:1-4 where we are called to unite and strengthen our faith. Even when things get difficult, we must recognize that "keeping our eyes on Jesus" is the way we can persevere and keep going. 🇭🇺👑 This meet St. Stephen of Hungary! He was a brave and caring king that loved Jesus and helped the country learn about Christianity. He built churches, opened dioceses and invited missionaries to spread the Good News to the people. Today, on his feast day we pray for more kings and leaders, may they follow St. Stephen of Hungary's example and show care for those in need.

🇭🇺👑 ¡Este , conoce a San Esteban de Hungría! Fue un rey valiente y bondadoso que amó a Jesús y ayudó a su país a aprender sobre el cristianismo. Construyó iglesias, abrió diócesis e invitó a misioneros a difundir la Buena Nueva.
