Na semana passada, tive a honra de conhecer estudantes do Ensino Médio no Colégio São Paulo, em Teresópolis, RJ, para conversar sobre oportunidades de graduação nos Estados Unidos. O evento anual Inforvest da escola convida profissionais e educadores da região para falar sobre oportunidades de ensino superior com os alunos. O CSP oferece um ambiente de aprendizado rigoroso e acolhedor, preparatório para a universidade, e tem, na maioria dos anos (incluindo este), as maiores pontuações no ENEM da região. Além do alto desempenho no ENEM, o que mais me impressionou foram os muitos ex-alunos, agora profissionais, que voltam ao campus todo mês de agosto para compartilhar, com orgulho, suas experiências. Obrigada a Irmã Ana Paula Britto e Rafaela Soares pelo evento. Parabéns CSP!

Last week I had the honor to meet students from Ensino Médio at Colégio São Paulo in Teresópolis, RJ to talk about undergraduate opportunities in the US. The school’s annual Inforvest event invites professionals and educators from the region to talk about post-secondary opportunities with CSP’s students. CSP offers a rigorous and caring college prep learning environment and most years (including this one) the highest ENEM scores in the region. Beyond its high ENEM achievement, what spoke most to me were the many former students, now professionals, who come back to campus every August to proudly share their experiences. Thank you Sister Ana Paula Britto, and Rafaela Soares for the event! Congratulations CSP!

This weekend, I had the honor of attending commencement ceremonies for the class of 2022 (and ‘21 and ‘20) at UCLA. It was so inspiring and emotional to celebrate the graduates and remember the challenges they faced over the last few years. (Full disclosure, I am a proud Bruin mom.) Success Bruins!! Keep inspiring!! 💙🐻💛

On May 19th admission officers from Duke, Georgetown, Harvard, University of Pennsylvania, and Stanford will each give a short presentation about their institution’s academic programs and residential/co-curricular opportunities. The program will also include information about the admission and financial aid processes. A brief question & answer period will follow at the end of the event.
