We made it! Here's a photo from the last day of school with all the ECPistas who have stuck with us since the Futuro Prep days through the end of 8th grade. Now they are on their way to high school and college-bound in 2022!
This summer, Futuro Prep officially merged with our sister school, Endeavor College Preparatory Charter School. We are now a K-8 school with the Endeavor name. Please like the Endeavor page to continue to get regular updates, including the photo of the week.

Today LAUSD officially approved the merger of Futuro Prep with Endeavor College Prep. Our scholars now have a guaranteed path from kindergarten through 8th grade! For the 2013-14 school year we will continue to offer K-3rd grade on the Dena Elementary campus in Boyle Heights, but we will officially be Endeavor College Prep.
Endeavor/Futuro Prep are hiring for the fall. We have opportunities for teachers, teaching assistants, and office positions. Please spread the word or let us know if you know anyone who would be interested.

Back to work: in many schools, the end of testing means easing up on the academics, but at Futuro Prep we know every minute matters on our journey to college. We still have a month to raise reading levels and get ready for the next grade.

After two weeks of intense CST testing, the classes of 2022 and 2023 spent Friday afternoon playing field day games. We call this the "joy factor" that helps us all re-energize for one more month of growing our brains for college before summer vacation.

We talk to the scholars often about college, but we also lead by example. This weekend Ms. Nutter completed her Masters Degree at Loyola Marymount University. Congratulations, Ms. Nutter!
