🚨 Ep 95 drops TOMORROW! 🚨

Ever feel like life is filling the tank, you’re running out of air, & you keep looking UP for a way out?

Try looking DOWN for the damn drain. 😬

Marley gets real about when resilience stops being theory & starts being survival.

Think Aaron Brockovich with a British accent. 🇬🇧😂

“Why does it seem like there are so many more autistic people now?”

Dr. Angela Kingdon gave me an analogy that made the whole conversation CLICK.

Think about stars. 🔭 There weren’t suddenly more stars in the universe when we got better telescopes—we simply became able to see more of them.

In "Every Day's a Train Wreck," Dr. Kingdon explains her experience of being late diagnosed and how the diagnostic definitions available when she was growing up didn’t fit her. Years later, those definitions changed.

In other words: sometimes you can’t identify something when the framework for identifying it doesn’t exist yet.

Did the telescope analogy make this click for you, too?

You know those moments when EVERYTHING feels like molasses and somehow Tetris is suddenly the most fascinating thing on earth?

Dr. Angela Kingdon has a much better response than immediately deciding you’re lazy.

In Episode 94 of "Every Day's a Train Wreck," we talk about autistic inertia and what can happen when you stop attacking yourself and start asking, “Is there something I need?”

Check the triggers. Look for the glimmers. Maybe it’s music. Maybe it’s re-straightening your hair. Maybe it’s reapplying lip gloss because, honestly, start where you can.

That little shift from judgment to curiosity? HUGE.

Running a business means challenges are part of the job description.

Don't fear mistakes. Ask for help. Stay flexible. And remember: being busy isn't nearly as important as being profitable.

Growth starts where your comfort zone ends. 🚀

What if you’re not “too much,” “too sensitive,” or “bad at adulting”…

What if your brain is simply running a different operating system? 🧠

In Ep. 94, Marley talks autism with Dr. Angela Kingdon – & starts wondering if they’re talking about HER.

Drops tomorrow. 🎧 Check it out at: https://www.podpage.com/every-days-a-train-wreck

What if a B2B conference felt more like a festival and less like…well, a B2B conference? 😂

Liz Lathan has been talking about the “festivalization” of conferences for years: give people the keynote, breakouts and expo—but then let the experience spill OUT of the ballroom.

Local experiences. Evening events. Other activations. Actual reasons to explore and connect.

And here’s the part I love: If you have to trap everyone inside because you’re afraid they’ll go somewhere else, Liz says you may not have the brand gravity you think you do. 👀

We get into it on "Every Day’s a Train Wreck."

Would you rather attend a traditional conference or a festival-style one?

If I’m going to fly somewhere for an event, PLEASE don’t lock me in a windowless ballroom for eight hours listening to something I could’ve watched on YouTube. 😩

As Liz Lathan puts it: let me meet the other people who flew out there too!

Because how many events still feel like someone threw a party in 1982 and just keeps spitting out the same version over and over again?

Liz and I get into why people are DONE with boring events—and what we should be doing instead—on "Every Day’s a Train Wreck."

What makes an event actually worth traveling for?

“Meet us at JFK. Bring a passport.”

And…that’s all you get to know. 😂

What started as Liz Lathan joking about having a “family reunion” for people who’d formed incredibly close connections at her events became a SECRET family reunion. Because apparently a regular reunion would’ve been far too normal.

Next thing you know? They’re chartering a plane and whisking everyone off to Tuscany for six days. 🇮🇹✈️

But there’s a fascinating idea behind the insanity: How do you intentionally create the kind of experience where people walk away feeling like they’ve found a whole new family?

Liz shares how that idea ultimately helped shape The Community Factory on "Every Day’s a Train Wreck."

Would you get on a plane without knowing where you were going? Because I have QUESTIONS. 😂
