This program offers student and early-career composers the opportunity to write, workshop and premiere a new work with the world class musicians of our festival chamber trios and resident ensemble . Plus private lessons, career development workshops, masterclasses and special events tailored around the cohort.
Application is free and the hybrid festival has both online and in-person events hosted at The Colburn School in downtown Los Angeles.

Join us to study with composition faculty, workshop and premier a new work with the world class musicians of our festival chamber trios or resident ensemble, Brightwork, and work on career development under the mentorsheic of festival faculty.
Program includes both online events as well as a week of in-person residency hosted at the renowned Coburn School Conservatory of Music in downtown Los Angeles.
