Hey breastfeeding mama - I just wanted to let you know that, when you are ready, it is OK to stop.

Now don’t get me wrong - as an IBCLC and fellow breastfeeding mama myself, I have dedicated so much of my life to encouraging and supporting breastfeeding mothers and their babies. But, I’m also a realist. I know that for many families, exclusive breastfeeding isn’t always possible or preferred.

Have you stopped breastfeeding? Or are you thinking about it? I’d love to know more about you and your journey in the comments below 🩷

Save this one, mama. Screenshot it. Send it to a friend who’s struggling.

Because nobody tells you that a bad latch doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong - it just means something small needs adjusting. And once you fix it, everything changes. The pain eases. The feeds settle. You start to trust yourself again.

The lipstick-shaped ni**le is the one I want you to remember most. If your ni**le comes out looking squashed or angled after a feed, that’s your body telling you the latch is shallow. It’s information. Not failure.

Unlatch gently, wait for that wide-open mouth, and try again. You’re not starting over - you’re getting closer.

SAVE this cheat sheet to refer back to when you need it. Always check in with your GP or IBCLC if pain persists.

You already love them so fiercely. This is just the knowledge to match it. 💖

Send this to a mama who reads every label, she deserves to hear this.

There’s something quietly beautiful about June babies.

In the Southern Hemisphere, winter wraps around you - cool air, cosy mornings, and the kind of weather that makes staying home with your baby feel exactly right. In the northern hemisphere, summer arrives in full glory, all long golden days and open windows.

Either way, June arrives with both tenderness and light.

Maybe that’s why so many June babies carry both. Deeply feeling and fiercely loyal, but bright and expressive and completely magnetic. Nurturing one moment, full of surprises the next.

Cancer or Gemini - there’s a real magic to this month.

But here’s what matters more than any star sign.

When you understand your baby: their cues, their rhythms, their nervous system - you stop second-guessing and start trusting yourself.

That’s where confidence grows. And that’s exactly what mamalinc is here for.

Comment GROWING for our Pregnancy Guide or HELD for our New Mama Guide. 🤍

Tell me - what date is your June baby born or due? Are they more Gemini or Cancer? 👇

“I’ll hold the baby so you can get stuff done.”

We need to talk about why this is not the support she needs.

She has waited nine months to hold that baby. That baby is the one thing she doesn’t need a break from. What she needs a break from is everything else.

The laundry. The dishes. The meal planning. The visitors she doesn’t have the energy to host. The mental load of running a household while recovering from one of the biggest physical events of her life.

Real support is doing everything else so she can just hold her baby. Without guilt. Without a to-do list building in the back of her mind. Without having to ask.

Nobody prepares you for what happens to your body after birth. Not really.

The bleeding, the sweats, the hair loss, the emotions that come out of nowhere on day three - all of it is normal, all of it is temporary, and all of it deserved a conversation before you came home from hospital.

Save this. Share it with someone who needs it. 🤍

Comment HELD and I’ll send you my free new mama guide - calm answers for everything nobody warned you about.

5 sleep regressions. 5 times your baby’s brain makes a giant developmental leap and takes your sleep with it.

Every single one has a reason. And knowing the reason changes how you respond to it. Swipe to learn more about each one - if you’re a mamalinc user, you can find detailed information and strategies for each regression inside the app - including my Parental Presence Method that was designed specifically for these windows. The periods when your baby or toddler needs more from you, not less.

Rather than pushing independence during a time when their nervous system is craving connection, it works with their biology - giving them the consistency and presence they need to feel safe and calm enough to sleep.

Save this for the next time sleep falls apart and it suddenly all makes sense. 🤍

Comment WIDE AWAKE below and I’ll send you my free sleep guide - so you always know what’s happening, why it’s happening, and exactly what to do next.

Your baby’s shield for their skin… their microbiome. It sounds complicated but once you understand it, you can’t unsee it.

This is the science behind why I’m so intentional about what goes on my baby’s skin and why WaterWipes™ is one of the first products I recommend to families wanting the simplest formula possible. 🌱

Share this with another mama so she can learn about microbiome too!
