On June 9, Venus meets exalted Jupiter at 25° Cancer, technically moving through the 26th degree of Cancer. This is one of the most important conjunctions of the year, but I do not want to reduce it to the usual “love, luck, abundance” language that is everywhere right now. Yes, Venus and Jupiter are traditionally called the two benefics. Yes, Jupiter is exalted in Cancer. Yes, this can bring blessings, support, emotional openings, love, money, beauty, fertility, reconciliation, and visible moments of grace. But reducing this conjunction only to something beautiful landing in your life strips away its deeper and more essential meaning. The real question is whether you are prepared enough, open enough, courageous enough, and honest enough to receive what your heart has been asking for. Can you actually hold it, or will you sabotage it again? You can only receive what your nervous system, your heart, your body, and your inner world are actually ready to hold.
Besides romance, Venus shows what we value, what we desire, what attracts us, what softens us, what we find beautiful, and where we seek pleasure, connection, harmony, affection, and embodiment. Venus is also money, taste, women, beauty, art, skin, sensuality, the body’s relationship with pleasure, and the way we allow life to come toward us instead of always fighting for it. In mythology, Venus, or Aphrodite, has more than one origin. In one tradition she is the daughter of Zeus and Dione, connected to the Olympian order. In another, older and more primordial stream, she rises from the sea foam after the severing of Ouranos. That already tells us that Venus is a very complex and controversial figure. She comes from the waters, from separation, from creation after rupture, from the place where beauty is born out of something violent, ancient, and cosmic. I often say that order comes from chaos, and vice versa. This is the constant death and rebirth cycle that everything goes through. The polarities.
Venus in Cancer becomes deeply emotional, protective, nostalgic, fertile, maternal, and memory-based. She wants affection that feels safe. She wants beauty in the home, food made with love, physical tenderness, emotional consistency, family, roots, and a sense that the heart can finally stop defending itself. In her higher expression, Venus in Cancer is devotional, nourishing, intuitive, caring, protective, loyal, deeply feminine, and able to create a space where other people feel held. In her lower expression, she can become overly attached, sentimental, passive, emotionally manipulative, dependent, moody, possessive, or unable to separate love from fear of abandonment. She can cling to the past because at least the past is familiar, even when it is no longer healthy.
Jupiter is the principle of expansion, wisdom, faith, protection, meaning, growth, generosity, higher law, blessings, teachers, guidance, and the ability to see life through a larger frame. Jupiter does not simply make things “good.” Jupiter expands things. If something is true, Jupiter can make it more visible. If something is unhealthy, Jupiter can also exaggerate it until it can no longer be ignored. This is why even the most benevolent Jupiter transit still requires consciousness.
Jupiter is exalted in Cancer because growth does not always require loud, external, aggressive productivity or performance. Real growth needs a womb. Sometimes life expands only when it is protected long enough to survive. Cancer is the sign of nourishment, memory, void, source, origin, family, ancestry, the mother, the stomach, the breast, the home, the private world, and the emotional foundation that every outer achievement rests on. Jupiter is strong here because true wisdom becomes embodied through care, belonging, moral feeling, emotional intelligence, and the instinct to protect life. Jupiter in Cancer knows that nothing real can grow in an environment that constantly threatens the body, the heart, or the nervous system. And here I am not talking only about external factors, circumstances, or other people. Very often the real question is whether we ourselves are creating an inner environment where something good can actually stay.
When Venus meets exalted Jupiter in Cancer, it is like desire meets blessing inside the sign of the womb, the shell, the home, and ancestral memory. It can bring love, emotional generosity, support from women, family healing, pregnancy themes, home blessings, money connected to beauty, wellness, food, real estate, hospitality, care, or anything that helps people feel safe, fed, and restored. It can also bring the desire to return to someone or something from the past, but that is where discernment becomes necessary. Not everything familiar is meant to be restored. Not every emotional wave is truth. Not every longing is love.
Cancer itself has a mythology that people usually skip. The crab, Karkinos, appears in the story of Heracles fighting the Hydra. While Heracles battles the many-headed serpent, the crab comes to aid the Hydra and attacks Heracles. The crab is crushed, but Hera places it in the sky. What do we learn from this myth? Cancer has its soft, homey, and motherly characteristics, but it also has a protective hard shell. Cancer is the instinct to defend what it is bonded to, even when that protection becomes irrational or self-destructive. Cancers often love to go inside their shells to escape the cruel world, and many times that can become very unhealthy. The crab has a shell because the body inside is vulnerable, just like our soul. The crab moves sideways because perhaps direct pathways are not always safe. It belongs between land and sea, between the visible world and the older waters of instinct, memory, and feeling, between light and darkness.
This is why I connect this conjunction with the necessity of having a ready vessel. The crab protects itself with a shell, but if it only stays inside the shell, nothing will ever occur. Protection can save life, but overprotection can block life. Cancer teaches us how to hold, nourish, shelter, and remember, but it also teaches us where we hide, where we cling, where we confuse safety with control, and where we keep ourselves emotionally unavailable because the old wound still believes that openness equals danger.
Cancer also belongs to the Cancer and Capricorn axis. This is the axis of private life and public life, home and career, mother and father, emotional foundation and worldly responsibility, roots and structure, the inner child and the adult who must build something real. Questions to ask yourself now on the Cancer side are: “What do I need to feel safe? What nourishes me? What does my body remember?” On the Capricorn side: “What am I building? What responsibility am I carrying? What structure can actually hold my life?” When planets move through Cancer, they always speak to Capricorn too, whether you have planets or points there or not. Cancer placements awaken Capricorn placements because the emotional foundation affects the outer life. If the private world is unstable, the public world eventually shows it. If the body is starving emotionally, ambition can become punishment. If the home, family, roots, and nervous system are not addressed, the career and outer identity can become a beautiful structure built on something weak.
The ruler of Cancer is the Moon, so the Moon is the headmistress of this conjunction. Venus and Jupiter may be the ones meeting, but they are meeting in the Moon’s house. On June 9, the Moon is conjunct Neptune in Aries. This matters tremendously. The Moon rules Cancer, Neptune rules the current North Node in Pisces by modern rulership, and Jupiter is also the traditional ruler of Pisces. Yet again, we see how everything is interconnected. This gives the whole day a destined, spiritual, emotional, and psychic quality. Ask yourself what is emotionally real, spiritually aligned, and safe enough to receive, versus what is only fantasy, hunger, projection, or old emotional programming?
So again, Neptune is the modern ruler of Pisces, and Jupiter is the traditional ruler. Jupiter is already part of the conjunction, which means the ruler of the North Node’s sign is sitting with Venus in Cancer while the Moon, ruler of Cancer, is sitting with Neptune. It becomes a back-and-forth conversation between all of them. This can absolutely feel destined, but sometimes destiny gives you the same pattern again so you can choose differently. Sometimes destiny brings back a person, message, memory, or desire so you can finally understand what it was teaching you.
There is also a wide square from Venus and Jupiter in Cancer to Chiron at 29° Aries, and this adds another very important piece. Chiron at the final degree of Aries speaks about an old wound around identity, confidence, assertion, anger, independence, courage, and the right to exist as yourself without feeling bad. The 29th degree is critical. It shows a sign at its final point, where the lesson can no longer stay theoretical. Aries is the first sign, the birth of self, the “I am,” the raw life force. Chiron at 29° Aries can feel like the last examination around selfhood before the wound moves into Ta**us, where the story becomes more physical, material, bodily, and value-based.
So while Venus and Jupiter in Cancer open the heart, Chiron in late Aries asks whether the self is strong enough to receive without collapsing, clinging, defending, or disappearing. This is the wound around identity meeting the desire for emotional safety. You may want love, but can you remain yourself inside it? You may want to be held, but can you stop performing strength long enough to receive care? You may want a blessing, but are you still guarding yourself so much that nothing can actually reach you? This is the crab shell again. The shell has a purpose, but if it becomes your whole identity, it becomes the prison.
Neptune also speaks to endings and beginnings because it has just entered Aries, where it will stay for a long time. Neptune in Aries begins a new collective spiritual cycle around identity, courage, desire, action, heroism, projection, and the fantasy of the self. We are entering a period where we will have to see, again and again, what is real courage and what is ego performance, what is divine inspiration and what is delusion, what is true instinct and what is a fantasy created by the desire to satisfy an unmet need. Because the Moon is conjunct Neptune now, and because Neptune is connected to the Pisces North Node, this conjunction asks us to see through the veil. It is not asking us to stop feeling, but rather to feel without lying to ourselves.
The Moon and Neptune are around 4° Aries, and 4° carries a Cancerian quality in modern degree theory. So once again the Moon brings us back to Cancer, and Cancer brings us back to the Moon. The degree itself repeats the story. We are dealing with emotion, protection, instinct, the body, the home, the shell, and the question of what must be softened so the heart can finally relax. Learn the difference between a boundary and a defense mechanism. A boundary protects life. A defense mechanism keeps you in the same vicious cycle.
At the same time, the Sun is in Gemini opposing Black Moon Lilith in Sagittarius. Gemini is the season we are in, so Mercury rules the season. Gemini wants words, information, posts, conversations, explanations, questions, and movement. Lilith in Sagittarius does not tolerate false wisdom, false morality, fake teachers, inherited beliefs, or the polished story that sounds intelligent but is not actually true. This opposition is very important because Venus and Jupiter in Cancer may create a strong emotional pull, but the Sun opposite Lilith demands truth. Something may feel beautiful, nostalgic, meaningful, or spiritually charged, but that does not automatically make it true. You must see through things and assert yourself. This is Chiron in Aries’ farewell gift and lesson. Like I have mentioned, something from the past may reappear, automatically bringing your attention to some wounded matter again. It might be a blessing in disguise.
Mercury, ruler of Gemini season, is also in Cancer, behind Venus and Jupiter, and forming a sextile to Mars in Ta**us. Mars in Ta**us is ruled by Venus, so again things lead us back to our main characters. Mercury in Cancer operates through memory, feeling, family patterns, emotional tone, and the body’s response. Mars in Ta**us acts slowly, practically, and with determination. This sextile can bring grounded action, but not in a fast, clean, linear way. Things can move like a flash emotionally, then take their time materially. One message can open something quickly, but the real-world process may still unfold slowly. Mars in Ta**us can be obstinate, but it can also be loyal, embodied, sensual, and steady. It helps Mercury bring feeling into action, food, money, the body, values, and practical decisions. Mercury also square Saturn in Aries and this can bring serious conversations, delayed answers, difficult family topics, emotional honesty, or the need to say something carefully rather than impulsively. It gives the day gravity. So while Venus and Jupiter open the heart, Mercury square Saturn asks: can you actually speak from emotional maturity, or are you still reacting from defense? Mercury square Saturn can feel blocked, but Mercury sextile Mars suggests do not overthink forever, do one practical thing. Send the message. Make the decision 🙂
Mars is also the ruler of Aries, where the Moon and Neptune conjunction is happening. So again we see the same chain: Venus rules Ta**us, Mars is in Ta**us, Mars rules Aries, Moon and Neptune are in Aries, the Moon rules Cancer, and Venus and Jupiter are in Cancer. Everything is connected. Nothing in this chart is acting alone. It is tangled, and this whole period is about untangling it step by step. You do not need to understand the whole story at once. You need to find the first true thread.
The Moon also sextiles Pluto retrograde in Aquarius around 5°. The 5th degree carries a Leo quality in degree theory, and Leo is directly across from Aquarius. Pluto in Aquarius is already reshaping the collective, the groups, the future, technology, social systems, communities, and the way power moves through networks. The Moon sextile Pluto gives emotional depth, the ability to see underneath the surface, and the courage to face what is usually avoided. Soon Venus and Jupiter will move into Leo, and eventually they will oppose Pluto in Aquarius, so today’s conjunction is not just a special Cancer moment. It is the emotional preparation before the story unfolds further and wider. Remember, I told you in the June podcast that this month, in my opinion, becomes a bridge to our new yet authentic life and reality.
Pluto is also sextile Uranus in Gemini, while Uranus is in a Mercury-ruled sign. Uranus in Gemini brings our attention to the nervous system, communication, media, language, technology, perception, and the way the mind adapts to the future. Uranus is around 2° Gemini, and 2° carries Ta**us symbolism in degree theory, which once again brings us back to Venus, value, the body, money, feminine energy, beauty, and the material world. No matter how we look at this chart, it keeps repeating the same message through different doors.
Mercury will make this conjunction even more important later in the month. It passes through the same 25–26° Cancer point three times this summer. First Mercury reaches this degree while direct, then stations retrograde on June 29 at 26°15 Cancer, and later returns to this degree again at the beginning of August after the process is complete. This means Mercury comes to review what Venus and Jupiter open. The conjunction on June 9 may bring the blessing, the message, the person, the emotion, the opportunity, the memory, the desire, or the sign, if you are ready. But Mercury retrograde will ask us to review it once again. Reflect on whatever comes up. Is it sincere, or does it have an agenda? Does it fit right in your heart and complete something honestly, or does it still feel uncertain? Stay openhearted and open-minded, but do not abandon discernment.
This Mercury retrograde in Cancer can be connected to emotional and heart matters, language, family communication, ancestral memory, childhood programming, home, belonging, mothers, care, security, and the stories we repeat because they were handed to us before we knew how to question them. Around this time we are also moving through multiple retrogrades, which means life is taking us inward. As I always say, pay attention to what you are feeling inside and be honest. The body will speak before the mind can make the whole explanation sound acceptable.
I have recently started working with genealogical astrology more deeply, and to say it is fascinating is saying nothing. Through multiple generations, you can see the same issue repeating through different family members, different sides of the family, different life circumstances, but the same root pattern. The chart often shows what the family keeps trying to resolve through different people. If you are interested in that work, you can DM me as well, because this conjunction is exactly the kind of transit that brings ancestral patterns to the surface, and you probably feel it.
Now we have to speak about the degree itself. Venus and Jupiter meet at 25°46 Cancer, so we are working with both Cancer 25 as the threshold and Cancer 26 as the active degree. In Rudhyar’s Sabian system, Cancer 25 is: “A will-full man is overshadowed by a descent of superior power.” The keynote is the response of spiritual forces to the integration of personality through positive will-full endeavors. It is the mantle of power, grace, baraka, providential assistance that comes when the personality has been integrated enough to receive a higher force. Here we are not talking about external material success, but internal evolution.
Then we move into Cancer 26: “Guests are reading in the library of a luxurious home.” The keynote is the transference of social privilege to the level of intellectual enjoyment. Here we see wealth, culture, knowledge, private space, comfort, social position, and the ability to relax into intellectual refinement. Again, the meaning is not just luxury, but the kind of protected environment where the mind can read, the body can rest, and people can gather inside a cultivated space. On the lower level, it can become class performance, passive comfort, keeping up with intellectual standards, and material wealth without inner foundation or soul. On the higher level, it is the inner sanctuary where abundance becomes knowledge, beauty becomes refinement, and comfort becomes wisdom. This is perfect for Venus and Jupiter in Cancer. The blessing descends through Cancer 25, then must be received through Cancer 26. First comes the superior force, then comes the question of the house that will hold it. What kind of vessel have you created? What kind of body? What kind of home? What kind of emotional environment? What kind of inner library? If the blessing enters, will it be used consciously, or will it become another comfort that keeps you asleep?
Other degree systems repeat the same theme in different language. La Volasfera gives the image of a fair woman leading a child by the hand, connecting the degree with affection, prosperity, companionship, and hospitality. Kozminsky gives the image of a marksman missing the bull’s-eye several times and finally hitting it on the ninth shot, which speaks to perseverance and finally learning where to aim. Chandra and Omega symbols bring images like pastry makers and fireflies at dusk, which again point to sweetness, nourishment, small lights, craft, food, joy, and the ability to make ordinary life feel touched by something more alive. The dodecatemoria of this degree falls into the Ta**us subdivision of Cancer, adding Venus, the body, food, land, beauty, money, fertility, and material value. So even the degree itself keeps repeating the conjunction: Cancer as vessel, Venus as value, Jupiter as abundance, Moon as ruler, Ta**us as embodiment.
In modern degree theory, 25° is often associated with Aries, and 26° with Ta**us. I would not use that as the only foundation, but it fits the chart very well. The 25° layer brings Aries, the place of will, courage, action, and selfhood, which echoes the Moon and Neptune in Aries and Chiron at 29° Aries. The 26° layer brings Ta**us, which echoes Venus, Mars in Ta**us, the body, the home, food, money, and the material vessel. So again, the message is the same: the emotional blessing must pass through courage, then become embodied.
The timing around this degree also matters. Jupiter last moved through this exact Cancer degree in June 2014. Jupiter crossed 25° Cancer on June 23, 2014, and the exact 25°46 Cancer area around June 27, 2014. The Venus-Jupiter conjunction of 2014 did happen in Cancer, but it was not at this degree. That earlier conjunction was around 7° Cancer, so June 2026, and specifically this conjunction, becomes extremely potent and significant. Jupiter opened something in 2014, then Venus began revisiting it every year, and now Venus and Jupiter finally meet here together.
Venus crossed this 25–26° Cancer area on August 8, 2022, June 1, 2023, July 8, 2024, August 22, 2025, and now June 9, 2026. In 2022, Venus at this degree was trining Neptune in Pisces and opposing Pluto in Capricorn, which already brought themes of emotional desire, fantasy, spiritual longing, and deep longing for transformation. In 2023, Venus crossed this degree shortly before the New Moon in Cancer at 24°56 on July 17, 2023, which planted a seed in this same part of the chart around home, family, emotional safety, nourishment, and belonging. You might have realized something important around that time. In 2024, Venus at this degree was in a close sextile to Uranus in Ta**us, bringing new values, sudden shifts, body and money themes, and unexpected openings. In 2025, Venus passed this degree again in August, so think about the themes around August 21–23. Something may still be developing from that time, and then Jupiter entered this late Cancer zone in November.
Jupiter activated this late Cancer degree in November 2025, then returned to it again in June 2026, just days before Venus arrived to meet it. So look back to early and late November 2025, and then to the days around June 5–9, 2026. What was opening? What was seeded back then? What was asking for protection, safety, nurture, or emotional honesty? What was happening around family, home, the body, women, money, care, belonging, ancestry, or emotional truth? Perhaps, what did you almost receive, but were not yet ready to hold?
There was also a Full Moon in Cancer on January 13, 2025, around 23°59 Cancer, close enough to belong to the same late Cancer storyline. Full Moons reveal, and this one exposed something in the same late Cancer zone. Many people may remember that period as physically or emotionally heavy, almost as if the body itself was carrying something old. If you felt sluggish, sensitive, overwhelmed, or emotionally pressed around that time, it may belong to the same storyline that is now coming back in a different form. It carries beauty, but it also carries responsibility, because receiving what the heart truly desires requires more than wanting it. It asks for emotional honesty, inner clarity, and a body and nervous system that are ready to hold more without turning the blessing into another wound or repeating the same old story. There is an opportunity here to close an emotional cycle and come out of it stronger, wiser, and more powerful, but the heart has to stay open, and the whole inner environment has to be prepared for what is trying to enter.
This can also bring messages from the past, people from the past, memories from the past, or situations connected to the dates I just mentioned. The important thing is to discern between what is real and what your desire or heart wants to hear. There is a difference between truth and the fantasy created by an unmet need, between intuition and obsession, between a blessing and the same trap wrapped in a softer and shinier cover. This conjunction gives us the ability to see things for what they are, but it also gives us the temptation to fall into emotional projection if we do not stay honest. You can embrace what you have learned and rise above the old cycle, or you can fall back into the same illusion, become overly attached, and repeat the same emotional story again. The point is not to harden yourself, not to become cold, mean, selfish, or closed, but to gain wisdom from the emotional experiences that tried to break you. What does not kill you can make you stronger, but only if you actually learn from it. Knowledge is power when you know how to use your experiences. When experience becomes wisdom, it becomes a key.
So this Venus and Jupiter conjunction in Cancer is a blessing, yes. But it is a blessing that asks for honesty, maturity, and preparation. It asks you to take care of and clean the house, literally and metaphorically, the body, the emotional field, the memory, the story, and the place inside yourself where you still believe you must protect yourself from everything you asked the universe to bring. The blessing can enter, but the shell must open. The heart must be strong enough to stay soft. The vessel must be ready.
From the AstroWellness point of view, this is the time to come back to the body in a very simple and practical way. Cancer rules nourishment, digestion, fluids, the stomach, breasts, and the way the body reacts when it feels safe or emotionally overwhelmed. With Venus and Jupiter here, the body may ask for more rest, more comfort, more warmth, more sweetness, better food, and a slower pace, but the point is not to fall into excess or numb yourself with food, memories, or emotions. Choose real nourishment: warm cooked meals, minerals, proper hydration, soups, broths, rice, root vegetables, gentle proteins, calming teas, and anything that supports digestion instead of stressing it. So todays energy can feel beautiful and raw at the same time. People may feel inspired, hopeful, sentimental, nostalgic, or ready to open again, but also tired, overstimulated, restless, impatient, or emotionally exposed. The Cancer part wants safety. The Aries Moon wants movement. So the body may say, “I want to receive, where is the action?,” while the nervous system says, “Calm down, I need space, silence, and protection first.”
Mentally and emotionally, do not rush to turn every feeling into a final answer. Mercury is in Cancer too, and later it will return to this same degree, so a lot of what comes up now may need time to reveal its full meaning. Write things down, notice what repeats, pay attention to dreams, conversations, memories, and body reactions, but do not build an entire fantasy around one sign or one message. Spiritually, this is a very receptive moment, especially with the Moon connected to Neptune, but real guidance should bring you closer to truth, not deeper into obsession, confusion, or chasing. The work is to stay open, grounded, fed, hydrated, rested, and honest enough to recognize what is actually nourishing you.
The signs that will feel this conjunction the strongest are Cancer, Capricorn, Aries, and Libra, especially if you have placements or angles around 22 to 28 degrees of these signs. Cancer receives the conjunction directly, Capricorn receives it by opposition, Aries and Libra receive it by square. These are the cardinal signs, so the transit moves through the main life pillars: self, home, relationships, career, emotional foundation, and the structures that hold your life together. If you have planets there, this transit is touching something personal in your chart. Identify where are you being emotionally prepared to receive more, and where are you still blocking nourishment because pain taught you to survive instead of receive?
The best way to work with this day is to stop pushing things into a direction only because you want an immediate answer. Prepare yourself and your environment instead: clean your space, nourish the body properly, drink minerals, rest if the body is asking for it, and pay attention to the messages, dreams, conversations, memories, and emotional reactions that come up now. This is a time to observe very honestly what is real, what is projection, what comes from an old unmet need, and what actually belongs to the person you are becoming. This conjunction can bring something beautiful, but more importantly, it can show whether you are finally ready to receive without turning the blessing into another cycle of attachment, fear, or illusion. The heart does not need to harden in order to become wise. It needs to become honest. That is the difference.
