To be able to bring my niece to the place I always ran to when I was lonely and missing home—missing her—felt surreal. It was one of those full-circle moments in life that makes you proud you stuck it out, even through something as bitter as loneliness.

We all start somewhere….

I know, I know you hear that all the time, BUT it’s true.

I believe most people think about new beginnings as this big scary experience that’s going to suck because no one likes being the newbie or being bad at something.

Personally, I think being a newbie is AWESOME. I get to ask as many questions as I want while having someone else teach me!?! WHAT?? Sign me up!!

IMO, It’s a rarity for woman to have someone else lead or support her, so I believe there is power behind starting something new and allowing someone else to take a bit of the weight from us.

It sounds magical to me! Hehe

This is why in the past I’ve hired my own coaches to lead and teach me. I’ve hired health coaches, personal trainers, business coaches, and money mindset coaches. I’ve purchased master classes, webinars, online certifications, and everything in-between.

Why? Two big reasons.

1. Because I see the value in hiring someone to help hold me accountable, provide support, and to teach me what I don’t know.
2. I KNOW from experience that I can reach my goals X times faster when I hire someone who’s an expert in their field to guide and teach me their ways. Receiving a blue print on how to achieve a specific goal is worth more than gold to me.

This is why I’ve created my own online coaching business to help other woman, just like me, who need an easy to digest program to follow to help them reach their fitness, nutrition, and health goals.

Whether that’s building muscle & strength, losing weight / burning fat, learning the basics of nutrition and which foods are right for your specific body, or getting into the gym for the first time and needing someone to program fun workouts that you feel comfortable doing.

Consistency > Perfection

I know, I know -the quote “consistency is 🔑” has been shoved down your throat a thousand times. You get it right?!

Are photos really dead? Let’s try it! 👉🏻 5 reasons why you’re not seeing physical results ⬇️

1️⃣ You’re using a macro calculator to figure out how many calories you should be consuming. Sorry, Love but there’s WAY more to it then just entering your age, height, current weight, and goal weight. Work with a progressional to assess your goals, lifestyle, hunger cues, preferences, and to get customized macros.

2️⃣ Your diet is so restricted 🚫 that you end up binging or completely sabotaging yourself because you’re starving or lacking joy.

2️⃣ You eat clean during the week 🥑🥦🍎🥩🥗🍣🍷, but then your weekend looks like this 🌯🌮🍕🍟🍔🍻🍷🍹. It’s totally ok to eat fun foods, but try to stick with the 80/20 rule to still see progress.

3️⃣ You’re not focusing on progressive overload in the gym. You can achieve progressive overload through increasing your weight, reps, sets, TUT (time under tension) aka slowing down your tempo, or by decreasing your rest times.

4️⃣ You’re changing up your workouts too often. Practice makes progress - follow a structured program and STICK with it!

5️⃣ You’re impatient. Building muscle takes time! Way more time than you think, so be patient and try to focus on all of the other benefits you’re receiving from eating well and working out such as your energy levels, improved digestion, increased s*x drive, quality of sleep, gaining strength and endurance, mental clarity, better mood, how your clothes fit, etc.
