Your voice, your body. Together we are Healthy Young Men. #WeAreHYM

We believe better health for all young men is possible.

HYM Stands for Healthy Young Men and is a five year research project. The focus of HYM is to improve the health and well being of young men of color by exploring what we think about health and how we connect to health care. HYM is for Black, Latino or mixed race young men ages 16-24 who are gay, bisexual or same gender loving and live in the Los Angeles area.

Unleash your inner artist! Over the course of five (5) free weekly classes, participants will gain skills to become wheel-throwing pros, discuss profession-related challenges and needs, and learn about local mental health resources in a confidential, safe, affirming, and shame-free environment. The Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health is proud to announce a partnership with Break The Binary LLC to host a new and exciting project: the 2024 Liberation Workshop Series!
