“Follow you Bliss” they said. (more specifically, Joseph Campbell 🤩 said that!)

But what about AFTER I follow my bliss?

What about when my brain starts to freak out and all my doubts and fears come rushing in? What then?

So glad you asked!

You call ME, your COACH, and together we will…

Navigate through those dark and murky waters of doubt and loneliness and fear and fret! *Which btw are 💯 normal and are for sure gonna show up. Why?

Because FOLLOWING YOUR BLISS ain’t all just pretty, pretty unicorn stuff. 🦄

There will be:

Dragons to slay 🐉
Paths to forge 🚸
Thresholds to cross🚪

We gonna get mythical up in herrre! Because honestly, the story is as old as time!

We are creatures. And all creatures have predators. And ladies, our predators are MOSTLY living inside our own beautiful minds. 😵‍💫

But you CAN learn to navigate your own forest safely. And NOT be devoured by your predators but instead…

bring them to the light and understand them. ❤️‍🔥

Only then can we *grow* forward.

Y’all I am so damn excited to teach this

Listen folks - we are the only species on the planet that can

THINK ABOUT OUR THINKING

(which is what makes us different than say…a lizard!)

which means we are also the only species that can be AMAZED

by our thinking

This is my little family.💜

We’ve had a wild year. Ups and downs and all arounds.

Births 💫 Deaths 💔 Wins 🏆 Losses 😩

And that’s the way of it. This life IS the Yin. And it IS the Yang. ☯️

And I am HERE. FOR. IT.

This is not just my “nature” it is my “nurture” too.

I INVEST. ON PURPOSE. In the nurturing of my soul. Of my body. Of my mind.

I seek help when I need help crossing a challenging bridge. When I need a nudge forward up a steep,and at times dire, hill.

I lean into the support that is out there. I know I don’t have to do this life alone. I know someone else can see my “situations” differently than I do. I know that at times I need someone else’s light to help me find my own!

So that I may sail ⛵️ this ocean of life 🌊 - wave to wave - without it crushing me. Swallowing me whole. Pulling me under in its rip tides.

I know when to ask for help, so that I may ride these waves with courage and a zest for the life ahead of me.

This is how I Carpe Diem. And y’all, I DO Carpe Diem! 😎🤩🎉

And this is why I choose to be a coach.

When Mondays are your bitch 😎, you're organized, you have a fail-proof, non-overwhelming to-do list, you can ACTUALLY start crossing things OFF your list.

By 5pm you'll only want one glass of wine to whine down with your family because you're enjoying the sunset on your porch.

No more 5 martinis to 'take the edge off your CRAAAAAZY DAY and another day of no art created.

This is exactly what we work on when you coach with me.

Appreciation post for this woman! is helping me tackle some home projects that have been sucking my energy for some time. I had surgery on Aug. 2 that was supposed to be very routine and straightforward, and has been anything but. My recovery has been tough, painful and frustrating. I’ve had to go back for 3 post-op procedures in the past month and am still looking at more recovery time. It’s been a lot! Cue Shannon Noel! I asked her to come into our home and work with me on problem areas. Problem area #1 - our closet! Living in a 1930s era home offers very little storage space. There are lots of nooks and crannies, shallow shelves and odd shaped cabinets. Shannon and I started with phase 1 yesterday and cleaned out my clothes storage! We filled 2 giant IKEA bags to donate, and by the time she left I had a perfectly clean, organized, Marie Kondo-folded wardrobe! Shannon is a life coach and offers brilliant nuggets of wisdom. She helps people get over mental hurdles so they may be productive, creative, and for me - guidance for getting “unstuck” so that I can get back into my flow of life that got a bit derailed this summer. I’m sharing some befores & afters and will share more as we continue our project. Check out on IG and follow her for some incredible, inspiring advice! Also, she is a true ray of sunshine and will brighten your day ☀️
