The Quantum 10 – Equity in Education conference addresses educators and leaders in K12 and Higher

Black History Month is a time to listen, learn, and reflect on the stories that have shaped our past and continue to inform our present. This year, as we recognize 100 years of honoring Black history, we celebrate the power of storytelling, the voices that carry history forward, and the moments of connection that happen when stories are shared across generations.

These stories remind us that Black history is not static. It is lived, spoken, remembered, and still being written.

Throwback Thursday to our Quantum 10 book analysis, where our CEO, founder, and author Dr. Talisa Sullivan guided the conversation with questions that helped shape the feedback. Attendees, both in person and virtual, came prepared with challenging points and thoughtful questions that pushed the discussion forward.

In true Quantum 10 fashion, we know that feedback is essential to growth, clarity, and strengthening the work before it moves forward. We’re excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to share what comes next.

Are you as excited as we are for this book? Drop a like or a comment below if you’re looking forward to its release. 📖

Q10 attendees had the opportunity to take part in a virtual session during the 6th Annual Conference with Michael Ison, focused on the idea of finishing the book so many people start but never complete. Students, in person attendees, and virtual participants joined the conversation to reflect on a feeling many share and to explore why creative ideas often remain unfinished.

Michael shared insights that highlighted how rare it is for people to finish the book they begin. We heard from attendees that the message struck a chord, particularly for those who have been holding onto an idea for a while and appreciated the opportunity to reflect on how to take the next step. It was also inspiring to see so many published authors within the Q10 community join the session, both as presenters and attendees, alongside others who are actively in the writing process.

Throughout the session, participants were introduced to practical strategies for moving past writer’s block, finding inspiration, and building writing habits that feel manageable and realistic. Attendees were also invited to take part in writing practices that encouraged momentum and renewed confidence.

Thank you, Michael Ison, for sharing your perspective and for giving our session attendees a starting point for thinking differently about writing, creativity, and what it takes to finally finish the work they have been carrying with them.

This weekend, Mosaic Legacy convened a gathering rooted in togetherness, reflection, and shared direction.

Dr. Talisa Sullivan, Founder and CEO of TLCS, joined women from across communities for a morning shaped by conversation, intention, and collective focus at the start of the year.

Vision board creation created a deliberate pause to move beyond routine and into clarity, offering space to define priorities and consider what matters most in the months ahead. Making room for this kind of reflection early in the year helps anchor decisions, align energy, and set direction with purpose.

Sincere thanks to Dr. Judy White and to the many hands that brought this gathering to life.

As we move into 2026, Q10 continues to center its work on intentional reflection, clarity of purpose, and growth grounded in community.

Our Friday Q10 check-ins are back!!

This first check-in of 2026 offers a simple pause to reflect on the ideas we moved forward, the conversations that shifted our perspective, and the space we want to create for what comes next. If time allows, take a few quiet moments to sit with the prompts. If not, let one stay with you and return to it when the moment feels right. Wishing you a restful weekend and a thoughtful start to the week ahead. 💜

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Dr. Antoinette Gutierrez, a cherished friend of not only our CEO and the founder of TLCS and the Q10 framework, but of the entire Q10 community.

On January 19, Antoinette marked the launch of her new book, Healing for Leadership, a powerful and practical guide that speaks to the inner work every leader must be willing to do in order to truly lead others with clarity, compassion, and courage in today’s world.

This book is a reflection of who Antoinette is at her core. Thoughtful. Grounded. Honest. It challenges leaders to slow down, look inward, and understand that meaningful leadership begins long before titles, strategies, or outcomes.

We are so proud of this work and grateful for the wisdom Antoinette continues to share with leaders everywhere! Congratulations 👏👏🎉

Leadership in education carries both influence and responsibility. It shapes access, opportunity, and belonging for the communities we serve.

As we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., we reflect on the role educators and leaders play in advancing justice through service, equity-driven decision-making, and a commitment to meaningful change.

At this year’s 6th annual Q10 Conference, the energy in the room felt familiar in the best way. Handshakes turned into hugs, conversations picked up where they left off, and new ideas sparked alongside trusted relationships.

Once again, Q10 became a place where educators, leaders, and partners came together not just to learn, but to reconnect, reflect, and move forward with purpose. The sessions were meaningful, the dialogue was honest, and the shared commitment to growth was unmistakable.

A powerful reminder that when people gather with intention, the learning goes further and the connections last long after the conference ends.

Day 2 of Quantum 10 continued the conference with engaging sessions rooted in the Q10 framework and focused on practice, purpose, and impact.

From sessions on storytelling and curriculum design to conversations centered on student voice, wellness, and equity, each space offered meaningful insight and practical takeaways educators could carry back to their communities.

Thank you to our presenters and participants for the care, curiosity, and collaboration that shaped every session. This is Quantum 10 in action.
