Its all about what you know !! So do you know your rights in regards to pregnant accommodations ? If not thats what we are here for.

The S.E.C has done the research so you don't have to. In July 2023, The Pregnant Workers Fairness Act was passed. It required for employers to provide reasonable accommodations for people undergoing pregnancy, childbirth and related illnesses. It made it illegal for a job to require you to take FMLA if reasonable accommodations can be provided.

Why does this matter ???? It matters because Black, American Indian and Alaskan Native Women have a significantly higher risk for preeclampsia, maternal morbidity and being admitted to the ICU during delivery.

The Statistics for Black Women have only worsened since Covid-19 so know your rights and Request your Accommodations !! Childbearing is not easy and its okay to ask for help.
