Civitas GES invites you along with the University of Granma to engage at your own pace by participating in the 8th Cuban Congress of Local Development: Articulating Strategies for Sustainable Development (CCDL 2021) to take place from October 6th to 8th, 2021. We offer you the opportunity to safely attend this Congres online. The deadline for abstracts is July 20th.

Once our beloved Cuba has made significant progress on vaccination and re-opens its borders, we will offer opportunities to re-engage in person, experience our communities firsthand and to support the Cuban people.

We're going virtual! The XV International Congress on Foreign Languages, Communication, and Culture (WEFLA) hosted by the University of Holguin will be available online for all who wish to particapte or attend. This year WEFLA will focus on ways to provide education in time of pandemic in the fields of language pedagogy, applied linguistics, education, communication, and culture.

WEFLA is held annually in conjunction with the Canadian Studies seminar (SECAN). This year, WEFLA and SECAN will be under the umbrella of the 10th International Scientific Convention of the University of Holguin.
