☀️🎐 Summer Festival 2026 🎐☀️

Our Summer Festival was held today! 🌻

The kids enjoyed takoyaki, nagashi-somen, sausages, and shaved ice 🍧. We also gathered together for bon odori and enjoyed a little taste of a traditional Japanese summer festival.

A huge thank you to all the parents who helped make today possible. From preparing the food to helping throughout the event, we truly appreciate all your time and support. ❤️

Most of all, we’re so happy to see the kids having fun, laughing, and enjoying a little taste of Japanese summer together! 🇯🇵🎐

Graduation day! 🎓 So proud of our Honor Roll students for their hard work and dedication. A special congratulations to one of our graduates who’s heading off to college this fall!

We also said a bittersweet goodbye to a few of our wonderful teachers, including some who have been part of our school family for over 10 years. Thank you for everything you’ve poured into our students.

A special thank you to Osumi sensei for hosting a beautiful tea ceremony for our graduating students — what a wonderful way to honor this milestone!

Celebrated with delicious food and treats afterward, surrounded by so much love and gratitude. Thank you to everyone who made this day so special!

卒業式🎓本校の優秀生の皆さん、頑張りが認められて本当におめでとうございます。そして卒業生の一人は今秋から大学へ進学します。これからのご活躍を楽しみにしています!

また、長年お世話になった先生方ともお別れの時を迎えました。10年以上にわたって本校で教えてくださった先生方も含め、これまでの温かいご指導に心から感謝しています。

そして、大角先生が卒業生のために素敵な茶会を開いてくださいました。心温まる素晴らしいお祝いの形をありがとうございました!

式の後は美味しい食べ物やお菓子をいただきながら、温かい時間を過ごしました。本日お越しいただいた皆様、本当にありがとうございました!

🥁 中央学園 日本の音楽体験 🥁
大角先生と鳴り物の先生による、日本の音楽紹介・体験を行いました。
太鼓や鼓など、さまざまな和楽器の音やリズムにふれながら学ぶ時間となりました。
実際に子どもたちが太鼓をたたかせてもらう場面もあり、みんなとても楽しそうに参加していました 😊

🥁 Japanese Music Experience at Chuo Gakuen 🥁
We had a Japanese music introduction and hands-on experience led by Osumi-sensei and a guest percussion instructor.
It was a time for students to learn while experiencing the sounds and rhythms of various traditional Japanese instruments, such as taiko and tsuzumi.
There were also moments when the children were invited to try playing the taiko themselves, and everyone joined in with great excitement and joy 😊

🎏5月5日は子供の日🎏
中央学園でも鯉のぼりを飾り、子供の日のお祝いをしました。
空を泳ぐ鯉のぼりを眺めながら、柏餅も楽しみ、日本の季節の行事を体験。

「子供達が元気に大きく育ちまますように」と願いが込められた日本の大切な伝統行事です。

季節の行事を通して、日本の文化に親しめる一日になりました。

May 5th is Children’s Day in Japan. 🎏
At Chuo Gakuen, we celebrated by displaying koinobori (carp streamers) and enjoying this special seasonal tradition together.
While watching the colorful koinobori “swim” in the sky, students also enjoyed kashiwa mochi and experienced an important part of Japanese culture.
Children’s Day is a traditional Japanese celebration that carries wishes for children to grow up healthy and strong. It was a wonderful day for students to connect with Japanese culture through a seasonal tradition.
