🥁 中央学園 日本の音楽体験 🥁
大角先生と鳴り物の先生による、日本の音楽紹介・体験を行いました。
太鼓や鼓など、さまざまな和楽器の音やリズムにふれながら学ぶ時間となりました。
実際に子どもたちが太鼓をたたかせてもらう場面もあり、みんなとても楽しそうに参加していました 😊

🥁 Japanese Music Experience at Chuo Gakuen 🥁
We had a Japanese music introduction and hands-on experience led by Osumi-sensei and a guest percussion instructor.
It was a time for students to learn while experiencing the sounds and rhythms of various traditional Japanese instruments, such as taiko and tsuzumi.
There were also moments when the children were invited to try playing the taiko themselves, and everyone joined in with great excitement and joy 😊

🎏5月5日は子供の日🎏
中央学園でも鯉のぼりを飾り、子供の日のお祝いをしました。
空を泳ぐ鯉のぼりを眺めながら、柏餅も楽しみ、日本の季節の行事を体験。

「子供達が元気に大きく育ちまますように」と願いが込められた日本の大切な伝統行事です。

季節の行事を通して、日本の文化に親しめる一日になりました。

May 5th is Children’s Day in Japan. 🎏
At Chuo Gakuen, we celebrated by displaying koinobori (carp streamers) and enjoying this special seasonal tradition together.
While watching the colorful koinobori “swim” in the sky, students also enjoyed kashiwa mochi and experienced an important part of Japanese culture.
Children’s Day is a traditional Japanese celebration that carries wishes for children to grow up healthy and strong. It was a wonderful day for students to connect with Japanese culture through a seasonal tradition.

The kids learned about the meaning behind the tradition and enjoyed Sakura mochi from Fugetsudo. Such a special way to share culture.🌸

Setsubun (節分) – a special Japanese tradition to welcome spring 🌱

Our students enjoyed mamemaki, throwing beans and shouting
“Oni wa soto! Fuku wa uchi!”
to drive away bad luck and invite good fortune.
