If you're anything like me, you might find yourself wearing your heart on your sleeve more than you'd like.
There's something magnetic about being unapologetically vulnerable, but it can be hard to muster the courage to do it.
I often use sarcasm to hide the more tender pieces of me.
I think everyone can relate to the humor that comes out of a difficult situation. It's a way to cope and find the beauty in the mess.
As Brene Brown famously said, "Vulnerability is our most accurate measure of courage."
Through my own experience, I've come to understand that if I want to open up and be truly seen, I must be vulnerable.
It's not easy, but it's a beautiful thing when we're brave enough to let ourselves be vulnerable. It's an act of courage and faith in the goodness of the world.
Let go of the need to be perfect.
Choose courage over comfort. Start small and build up.
The path of vulnerability isn't easy, but it is worth it. Trust that you have the strength to show up and be seen.

My goal is to help you create this new identity of a fierce, strong person, and offer you unremitting emotional and social support. Strength for the journey is an important way we can help and inspire each other.
I will be your coach first and I will NOT be shy calling you out on your excuses.
I will ENCOURAGE you to MOVE! We are often stuck in mental, emotional and physical ruts, going over unanswerable questions as we wear out our recliners and entertain feelings of purposelessness. What good am I if I don't hold you accountable?
BUT, I will also be a friend for when you need one.
My hope is that my programs will encompass dimensions of whole-person wellness and encourage personal growth and physical wellness

There's a difference between "good tired" and "grief tired," and I want you to know that I'm here to help you find that "good tired" again when you're ready.

Working out is like going on a bad first date. You put on your best outfit, you're nervous, you're hoping for the best, but deep down, you know it's probably going to be a disaster.
First, there's the warm-up.
You're supposed to get your heart rate up and prepare your body for what's to come.
But let's be real, no one actually enjoys the warm-up. You're just going through the motions, hoping it'll be over soon.
Then there's the actual workout. Depending on what you're doing, it can be anything from grueling to downright torture.
And just like a bad date, you start to wonder if you've made a terrible mistake. Why did you ever think this was a good idea? Maybe you should have just stayed on the couch and watched Netflix.
But then, just when you think you can't take it anymore, you get a burst of energy. Maybe it's the adrenaline, maybe it's the endorphins, but suddenly, you feel likecan conquer the world.
You're lifting weights, you're running, you're doing push-ups like it's nobody's business. You're in the zone.
And just like that, it's over.
You cool down, you stretch, and you realize that you made it through.
You survived the bad first date.
You conquered the workout. And even though you're exhausted, sweaty, and maybe a little bit sore, you feel a sense of pride and accomplishment.
So, sure, working out can be tough.
It can be painful, frustrating, and exhausting. But just like a bad first date, it's also an opportunity to challenge yourself, to push your limits, and to come out on the other side feeling like a champion.
So next time you're dreading your workout, just remember: You've got this. And who knows, maybe one day you'll look back on it and realize it wasn't so bad after all. Or maybe not. But hey, at least you tried, right? :)
