Welcome Crowie and Sansego Tri Club!! 🎉

We're honored and excited to announce a global partnership with triathlon legend and 3X IRONMAN World Champion Craig "Crowie" Alexander and the Sansego Tri Club! Crowie will be leveraging TriDot for his one-on-one coaching, the exclusive training platform for the Sansego Tri Club, and the integration of TriDot Pool School into Crowie's training camps, among other initiatives.

🏊‍♂️ What an incredible weekend at the TriDot Pool School event in Los Angeles! 🏊‍♀️

Athletes experienced massive gains, dropping between 3-32 seconds per 100 yards! 💪 Our community showed up strong with many local participants, and we were thrilled to welcome several dedicated athletes who flew in from out of state to join us. ✈️

This workshop was all about pushing limits and achieving personal bests, and our participants certainly did that! Congratulations to everyone who attended and made this event a huge success! 👏

Dive into your swim session fully prepared! Here's what you need in your pool bag:

1. Goggles - Protect your eyes and enhance visibility underwater.
2. Swim cap - Keep your hair in place and streamline your swim.
3. Fins - Opt for long fins for effective drills and technique work.
4. Kick board - Develop a powerful kick for speed and endurance.
5. Pull buoy - Float your legs effortlessly, focusing on stroke and body alignment.
6. Swim Paddles - Strengthen your stroke and refine technique.
7. Snorkel (for lap swimming) - Streamline your drills without head-turning distractions.
8. Swim bands - Perfect for warm-ups, technique reinforcement, or backup plans.
9. Ear plugs - Keep water out and minimize distractions.
10. Swimsuit - The obvious essential!

With these swim essentials packed and ready to go, you'll always be poolside-prepared!

What a win!!🏆

Congrats to TriDot athlete Andrew Hall on becoming the IRONMAN North American amateur Champion with a blazing time of 8:32 at the 2024 Memorial Hermann IRONMAN North American Championship Texas. With a 55:39 swim, 4:36:02 bike and 2:54:52 run, Andrew set PRs in both the bike and run to beat the next 35-39 age group athlete across the line by over 25 minutes. Representing the Salt Lake Tri Club, TriDot, and the USA, Andrew will be competing at the VinFast IRONMAN World Championship in Kona in October.

Already a talented and fast athlete, Andrew began using TriDot 18 months ago at the encouragement of his coach. In the 6 months leading into Texas, Andrew averaged just 15 hours per week, remained healthy and had an exceptional training block. Andrew is also a alum where he dropped 13 seconds per 100y down to a :57.

“I’m glad I was able to show off all my hard work to my family and friends. Having them in my corner allows me to balance my busy schedule of work and training. My preparation with TriDot and my coach got me fit, kept me healthy, and helped me determine a good race ex*****on plan.”

🏊‍♂️ Big Wins at TriDot Pool School in Chicago! 🏊‍♀️

Exciting news from our recent TriDot Pool School in Chicago! Despite some initial doubts, our swimmers showed remarkable progress, with an impressive 13.9% average improvement per 100 yards. Huge kudos to both athletes and coaches for their hard work!

A special shoutout to our fantastic coaches for their support and guidance, and to our dedicated participants who put in six weeks of solid dry land training. Your efforts have truly paid off!

Beyond the pool, the weekend was about learning, making new friends, and building a strong sense of community. Let's keep riding this wave of success together!

🏊 Coach tip: Stay relaxed while swimming!

"Keeping your goggles free of fog will help you stay relaxed. Pour water in your goggles before you swim using the same water you pour down your wetsuit. The more relaxed and comfortable you are, the faster you are going to swim. Being tense wastes energy and decreases your range of motion.

Bonus tip: When you push off the wall, don't breathe on your first stroke. It will take your body out of position and immediately slow you down. This is the best way to maintain your momentum. Push off the wall and take a few strokes before breathing."

Pushing off the wall without breathing is TOUGH! You may go hypoxic, so it takes practice.
